This is exactly what I wanted: it's a casual shoe like something from Skechers, but has the toe box of an Altra, and costs a fraction of either. I dig the look and I plan to use them for walking, work, and general casual use. I wanted something that I could potentially wear all day without discomfort and these seem perfect for that. The build quality is good, not excellent. It uses a faux suede material around the eyelets that looks a bit cheap. The toe box uses a formed knitted material which doesn't seem to be especially breathable (my "light test" showed very little light getting through) but it looks nice. There's a reflective strip with the logo on it, which I like. Compared to my expensive Altra running shoes and my Reebok cross-trainers, those shoes rely more on plasticky bits held on with glue. The overall quality of the Whitins is not far off the mark. The rubberized sole might be the first thing to wear out, as it's not especially thick. But compare that to Skechers which often go with a cheaper, less durable foam sole, and the Whitin soles look durable by comparison. If you plan to run in these, keep in mind that these are zero-drop shoes and while they have padding, it's probably not enough for people who run on their heels. It's best for fore/midfoot runners. It's really impressive that you can get something that looks nice and feels this good on your feet for such a low price. Fit: I'd go 1-1.5 sizes down from your usual. I wear 11.5-12 men's, and the 11 fit me best here, with a little room to spare.

Love the fit of these. There are no tight areas at all, perhaps even slightly loose, but not in such as way that my foot feels like its going to slip out, or get blisters. Just a nice sneaker that doesn't make my feet feel like they need to come off as soon as I get done exercising. They have a decent tread, and seem to be holding up well so far. Scored a great deal so definitely would say it was worth it!

This is an amazing shoes which I have ever worn. This item set me free from all the stresses which I got from wearing other running shoes. It feels like wearing a flip-flop while it is still giving me proper comfort and security. And I am really enjoying wearing this while walking and running. I have been fooled by many brands including Nike, Clarks and etc: they all are destroying my feet in the holy name of "fashion". I will soon buy more this for my son and wife!!!

Unfortunately, WHITIN, like many wide toe box brands, doesn't carry my size, 44 (US 12), in women's, happily I can get a shoe that fits in the men's sizes. I lucked out when I ordered this orange pair that they were on sale for $19.99, but don't let the low price deter you from purchasing, the WHITIN shoes are comparable to more expensive wide toe box shoes. I have chemotherapy induced neuropathy so having a comfortable shoe that doesn't crush my toes is a must, since my neuropathy can cause extreme sensory overload. The wide toe box and fabric uppers are breathable and offer plenty of room to wiggle my toes, the insoles are springy and supportive, while the outsole offers excellent grip. The Bottom Line: Overall, WHITIN offer a great shoe with a wide toe box for a natural fit and encouraging normal toe positioning. I hope the beginning offering larger sizes for women with the cute colors I so often miss out on.

These have been great so far. I can’t stand athletic shoes that squish my toes together, so I found these. They look like regular fashionable gym shoes, but with a wider toe box which isn’t too noticeable. I didn’t even notice that the stripe on the side is reflective, which is great if you go out at night. I usually wear a women’s 11, and the 9.5 fit perfectly and are very comfortable. If you’re not used to “barefoot” style shoes, it’s normal to have some wiggle room in the toes. I haven’t taken these shoes on more strenuous hikes yet, but I’ll update once I really break them in. Overall, they’re a great value.

These are a great shoe. Especially at the price I got them at. $20 I think it was. Super wide toe box—comparable to Altra and Topo and 1/5 the price. Even if they don’t last long, it’s well worth it.

Great fit and value. The upper on this one is comfy but significantly less breathable than on Whitins other cushioned zero drop running shoes, so I opted for that one. These look cooler but for running I need my shoes to breathe.
