I've had these for a few months now. I will definitely buy another pair. FIT: Make sure you use the size chart to get the right fit. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 and I think I got a size 9 in these. WEIGHT LIFTING: Initially, I got these for weight lifting. I generally still deadlift and squat without shoes on, but if I'm not feeling super confident in my socks on the floor then I'll wear these. You can take the insoles out and get even closer to the floor (even though there isn't much insole to speak of). HIKING: I ended up packing these on a backpacking trip to use as camp shoes. They were awesome for that. Really refreshing after wearing trail shoes all day without actually going barefoot and risking a cut or scrape. Gotta take care of your feet when you're doing 10+ miles per day with a pack. RUNNING: I tried running on pavement in them once. They weren't super good for that with traditional form. I'd say if you altered the way you run to be more bouncy and on your toes (as if you were barefoot), they would be fine. But, it was harder than I thought it would be to run as if I were barefoot. Something about having shoes tied on just makes my brain want to run heel to toe as if I were wearing traditional running shoes. DAILY: I used to go barefoot for weeks at a time working at a beachside youth camp, so I guess you could say my feet are conditioned to be barefoot (at least they used to be). I've heard of people trying to go with barefoot shoes and having foot/ankle/knee pain. So, just because you want to doesn't mean you'll like them. And just because somebody else says they suck, that doesn't mean you'll hate them. Just try them for yourself and find out.

I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and breathable and are my first try on a barefoot shoe. However, the sole isn’t very durable. I’ve had them for 3 months and mainly use them for working out only (plus a few full days of walking around Disney and Universal parks). While my feet were very very comfortable, the sole is already thinning out. Not sure if it is because I have worn them quite a bit, but even with Xero shoes the main issue is that the soles do not last long at all. Not a bad price though for a mainly beater shoe that I use for the gym

These are my first pair of barefoot shoes and I have to say they are phenomenal. I've tried on Vivos and Xeros but didn't like them as much as these. You will need to take out the insole for the full experience, but if you are new to going barefoot it's a good idea to leave them in until you get more used to them. Highly recommend these shoes! Also they are a perfect fit and true to size.

I’m used to wearing and walking in zero-drop shoes, and I saw that these Within shoes are much more reasonably priced than other brands, so I thought I’d give them a try when my Altras wore out. These shoes are fit perfectly (I’m a size 9 Medium in general), and I ordered these in that size (Euro 42). I laced these loosely so that I could slip them on and off without untying them. They feel like wearing a sock with a nice rubber sole. Actually, the laces are superfluous, because the shoes are snug enough on my feet without any laces at all. The zero drop makes them very stable, too. They look good (I got the green/gum ones) enough to wear with anything casual, and they are quality-made with nice and substantial insoles and good stitching. They are minimally cushioned, so they are really like being barefoot without having to worry about stepping on something that would hurt your bare foot! You could easily wear these as house slippers, workout shoes, walking shoes or casual shoes. Running in them would even work if you are a forefoot runner and not a heel striker. Bottom line: comfortable slip-on and -off, do anything shoes. I will be getting more of these!

I hate shoes and I hate shoe shopping. Anytime I walk into a shoe store I leave empty-handed and angry because nothing fits right or feels comfortable. I have no idea what size I'm supposed to wear because the few pairs of shoes I've found in my life that were acceptable vary greatly in size. I've also bought plenty of shoes that I ended up either returning or stuffing in a closet because after an hour or so of wearing them, my feet are sore or uncomfortable. Turns out, my problem wasn't with shoes in general, but with how most shoes are designed. There's an odd history behind the design of footwear. We have been deforming and ruining our feet for centuries, all in the name of "fashion." These shoes veer off from that tradition entirely, they are shaped like natural feet. Your toes fit without being squished together. They're all "wide" size because human feet are naturally wider than the pointy-toed shoes we've grown accustomed to. Measure your feet, add a cm or 2 for wiggle room, and match the length with the size chart, that's your real shoe size. And that's the size that fits properly with these shoes. In summary, if you're sick of shoes that don't fit your feet properly, give this a shot. But keep in mind that they have very little sole, it can take some getting used to if you're not used to being barefoot often.
