  • Lightweight and great for wide feet
Size: 11 Wide Color: Camo Black
Love the fit and feel of these shoes. The high-top feels great around the angle and my toes have room to move around. If you have wide feet, this is the way. Lightweight construction and great for business casual. Not a particularly rugged shoe but its well worth the price. I purchased 3 others pairs from Whitin last year and will continue to buy more. If you have diabetic foot pain or plantar fasciitis, these are probably not for you. ... show more

  • Drummers: these are the ones.
Size: 11 Wide Color: Black White
These are perfect drumming shoes IMO. Simple, minimalist design, they feel kinda like halfway between wearing extra thin and lightweight Chucks and a pair of house slippers. Very flexible and thin sole feels almost like playing barefoot. The ankle can be cinched down if you like more ankle support, but personally I'm tying them a bit loose and they stay put very comfortably but give me a really good range of motion for things like fast doubles. The wide toebox give my toes plenty of space to really feel solidly rooted to the pedals. And they aren't ugly either, just look like old-school Vans if you aren't looking too closely. I've got wide and flat "hobbit feet," usually wear 10.5 Wide and my toes still feel squished in most shoes, when I can I try to buy EEE. The 11 Wides fit perfectly and don't rub against the sides of my toes AT ALL. Just get these if you're a drummer looking for minimalist/wrestling type shoes and don't wanna drop the $100+ for the overpriced name brand minimalist shoes advertised on social media. ... show more

  • Seems like a decent, budget friendly, comfortable, minimalist shoe with good toe space.
Size: 11 Wide Color: All Black
I got the high-top black canvas black sole. I normally buy 11 or 11.5 (44 or 45). I ordered the 11, as there was no half size option. They sent me a 45. Right out of the box fits well and is very comfortable. At just under $50, I figured these would be a cheap temporary summertime barefoot shoe while I figure out something better. Right out of the box they are more comfortable and better toe box than my $200+ Lems. They're like a classic Vans with more toe room and a more barefoot feeling sole, which is exactly what I was hoping for. _ Pros: Lower end of the price range for a barefoot shoe. Comfortable right out of the box before even breaking them in. Good room in the toe box without looking like clown shoes. Super light weight, flexible, and very good ground feel. Breathable, like you're barely wearing a shoe. They dry quick. Good grip on the sole, even in wet conditions. Seems like the sole may end up holding up better than the other barefoot shoes I mentioned. They look nice, like a classic Vans vibe. _ Cons: The canvas is not at all water resistant, even walking thru damp grass my socks got wet (I may try waterproofing or waxing them) The tongue is pretty short, it would be better if it was a bit more substantial. The rubber stinks, but hopefully this will fade. The insoles seem pretty flimsy, I may end up swapping them out. _ Neutral: The laces are suuuper long. This could be a pro or a con, but I have to wrap the laces around the ankle so that the excess doesn't hang down to the ground, even with double knots. _ Overall, they seem pretty decent and quite comfortable super minimal barefoot shoe for warm dry weather. We'll see how long they last. If they end up being durable I am considering buying a second pair. ... show more

  • Would buy again.
Size: 13 Wide Color: All Black
Great fit. Super comfy, good tread. Sole is thick enough to walk on rocks.

  • Ok for the price
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: All Black
I should've returned it, they look so much better in pictures. Not really that comfortable as the sole is thin

  • Great. Runs big.
Size: 11 Wide Color: All White
I like the style. The white is more eggshell then bright white. Just had me first workout in them. They run a bit large. I’m about 10.5 normally I get 11 because barefoot shoes usually don’t come in 1/2 sizes. Kind of wish I would have gotten size 10.

  • Great intro to barefoot shoes
Size: 12 Wide Color: All Black
I went with the 12-wide and absolutely love them. Super comfortable, and I dig the minimalist design. These will definitely not be my last pair. Great purchase 5/5.

  • Pretty comfortable but not breathable
Size: 8 Wide Color: All Black
I have several Whitin shoes— mostly lace up “Keds” type of sneakers. I like the vibe of these. Zero drop & a roomie toebox is critical because I have very wide feet. They’re definitely not as wide as the Whitin slip on that I also just purchased. Compared with my leather lace up boots, they’re a bit of a hassle to get on / off. However, my biggest issue is that they make my feet sweat. Everybody's feet sweat, but I had them on for 5 hours & the tops of my toes actually looked a whiter & felt damp — like they would getting out of the ocean or a bath. I’ve not had this problem w/ leather shoes or with my other Whitins. Because they canvas, I assumed they’re cotton. But I wonder if they’re polyester canvas, which I didn’t know existed. So, I don’t think I’ll reach for these all that often compared with other boots but I’m glad to support an affordable shoe brand that makes wide zero drop shoes. ... show more
