Great fit and very comfortable. Purchased my normal size which is a wide width. These fit well for a standard shaped wide foot. They are not stretchy, so I am not sure how they would work is your feet are wide as a result of swelling/inflammation. Right out of the box, the elastic was just a tiny bit tight on my heel. I just gave them a gentle stretch front to back and wore them around my house with socks for a day. Next day I wore them to a wedding reception as my “dancing shoes” :) The rubber bottoms make the shoe not slippery and the color of the sole blends well so they could be easily worn as flats with a nice dress or shorts. They are flat, but they don’t look too noticeably casual. They are kind of nicely not noticeable. I can only wear flats now and these work well without drawing too much attention to the fact that I am wearing flats rather than a low heel. I wore them all day with no blisters or even red spots. My feet felt great the entire evening. I immediately purchased them in 2 more colors. I hope they don’t stop making these. Note: The navy color has just the very tiniest hint of purple tint to it. It blended perfectly with my slightly shiny lace navy formal , but it may not be a perfect match for a less shiny fabric of like a traditional solid navy blue work suit. I always had such a hard time finding ballerinas that would fit. Either too tight and uncomfortable, or too big and sliding out of them. I gave these a chance because I bought a pair of sandals from this brand and really like them. I have these in other colors and really like them, very comfortable. I ordered the white ones for the warmer weather and am disappointed. The toe part of the shoe really hurts my toes because it is not flexible like the other colors are. I think it is because of the patent leather, it is more rigid. OMG these are so soft and comfortable. They hug your feet without making them feel cramped and it feels like I'm walking on a pillow. The bone color is also very pretty; a little darker than expected but stil very pretty. I would describe it as being between a light taupe and a vanilla cream color. its the closest match I could find to a Loni ivory suede handbag.
