I purchased these towels solely on basis of the reviews they were given. Customers remarked how soft, thick and absorbent they are. In actuality, they are no more plush than the inexpensive towels you can purchase at Kohl's or Target. I was very disappointed, to say the least. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I'll go with Wamsutta, who has the softest, thickest, most plush towels I have ever used. Edit: Well, it appears that Wamsutta towels are no longer available. So I bought some Ralph Lauren towels at Home Goods. Very good for the price.

The packaging said the towel would get thicker after being unpackaged for a while, but this never happened. The towels look fine, but just aren't very thick or absorbent.

I was disappointed in how thin these towels are, even after washing per instructions. And, the color is not the light, baby blue in the photo. It's a bit darker and has a teal tint to it, fine by itself but it doesn't look good next to my true baby blue rugs. The 3 (actually 2.5) stars are because they do dry fairly quickly and are reasonably absorbent. They are not very soft, but a slight roughness feels OK when drying off from a shower.

I was a little worried I would get thin towels that fell apart quickly because the price on these was good. I found that these are holding up well after a couple of washings, the towels are on the thick side and absorbent. Happy so far.

I don’t know why Amazon is saying I got the two pack of silver towels, what I actually got was a four pack of dark blue towels. DO NOT BUY THESE! I have washed them four times through the washing machine and dryer, and they are still shedding like nobody’s business. They don’t absorb well, and running them over wet skin is a horrible experience. They leave behind TONS of bits of fluff, and you can see in the picture of the bathtub how much fuzz they drop just while trying to dry off. All the dark specks in the bathtub are towel fluff. I’ve tried to give these a chance, I mean I washed and dried them 4 (FOUR) times, and after trying them between each time I just don’t see them getting any better. The pictures of my skin show how they work after the fourth wash/dry. I will be trying to return these ASAP because I am at my wits end. Very poor quality. Really sucks because I love the color and when I got them out of the box they felt very soft.

I purchased these hand towels for my Master Bathroom after I just had it redone. The towels were advertised as thick, absorbent, and soft and the one’s that I received is none of the above. When I open them up I found 4 thin, cheaply made hand towels. I like most everyone else wash new towels prior to use, and I followed the directions to the “T” and when I got them out of my dryer I really did expect some improvement and I still had the same thin, cheaply made sad 4 hand towels. So, save yourself some money and don’t buy these towels they are terrible, unless you like wasting your money and drying your hands on towels that felt like they just came off the $1.00 bin at your local discount store.

The towels arrived in a very thin package. They were sealed inside a plastic bag labeled as vacuum sealed, but there was visible free air within the bag. The towels did not expand upon removing them from the packaging. A note included in the package stated that the towels would expand upon washing; however, I did not notice a lot of improvement. They remained fairly thin after washing, and although they are decently absorbent, they appear to be of a somewhat cheap quality. They shed small pieces of string into my laundry when I washed them. I would expect to see this type of towel in a motel bathroom. We may use them as guest towels when we have extra company, but I will probably not use them personally.
