The item feels pretty "meh". Not much weight to it, and does not pack the punch of a higher quality flogger. This would be great as a prop for a dominatrix costume, or as a travel-ready item for very light play. Anyone who has used a "real" flogger and is expecting a good thud will be disappointed. That all being said, at the time of this review, there is no description of the item and it is ~$15. If they wrote a description saying it was for light play or prop use, I'd bump it up to five because that's exactly what it feels like it's actually for. However, as it stands, the complete lack of item description is going to mislead and disappoint some folks. Your mileage may vary based on use-case. Going with three stars because it's difficult to know what the true intention behind the item is ("real" vs. costume/prop).

Taking a good look at the item image, you can tell it's a bit cheap. The leather is thin, and the handle feels wrapped in plastic. It has almost enough weight, but still pretty light for practical use. While to me it feels like a good fit for a costume or role play, it seems like a safe starting approach. People like different things, so your satisfaction may vary.

Nicely made!!! The handle is nicely made, perfect size for a male or female to hold onto. The whip ends are a softer, velvety leather which would make this great for someone who is just starting or "testing waters" with whips. Would be great for cosplay or used as a prop. Definitely recommended to add to your collect or to start your collection with. Small enough throw in your over night bag for a weekend get away, without it being huge and awkwardly sticking out or noticeable. Great for teasing and pleasure!

This whip is more in the line of a starter whip. Someone that wants to see if this type of thing is for them without spending lots of money. I will say for a starter whip the sting is not bad from where I have seen others. Out of others I would say this is one of the better starter whips that I have seen, as it leaves just enough sting that it shouldn't scare someone away. A belt will leave a lot harder sting just to put it in perspective.

This would be alright for someone looking to test the waters without any actual pain. It makes a little noise and you can kind of feel the impact, but there is zero pain or marking. It wasn't really what I was looking for. If it was a little stiffer or thicker it would be better, but it's just too soft. I brought this out during a session with a relatively inexperienced partner and all I got was a giggle in response, I ended up resorting to using my leather belt instead. It's more of a novelty than functional.

Decent lightweight play whip. The handle wrap appears to be a stiff plastic. It looks pretty, but feels budget. The lashes are wide thin pleather. The pleather is soft. Good for gentle strokes or light thwaps. Not the style of lashes that would produce stinging slaps. More sensual than S&M. Didn't have any shedding leather dust, which I appreciate.
