I own a 2019 RAM 1500 Classic, which came factory with 265/70/17's. Technically those tires are 31.6 in tall by 10.43 in wide. The truck comes with a ZF 8 speed and on the interstate I noticed it would often hunt for 8th gear pretty regularly. It's factory geared with a 321 rear end and by its actions of constantly hunting for 8th gear on the interstate The truck is plainly put geared too tall. Myself I know a little bit of my mechanics and I opted for 275/60/17.That size tire which are exactly 30.0 tall and 10.83 wide in this particular tire, the Su318 by Westlake turned out to be the absolute most perfect combination I could have went with and the tires ride perfect, handle much better that the old ones and with this new size, is geared just a touch lower out of the hole and the truck no longer "hunts" for 8th gear on the interstate. The truck rides flawlessly perfect handles better than I could have ever had dreamed and the tires ride perfectly smooth, I'm super happy with the tires, so far are definitely a great set of tires. ... show more

  • Love these tires
I was not able to locate the proper size tires for my 01 Ford F-150 at any of my local tire shops. I found these on amazon and the price was right so I ordered them. I love these tires. They ride fairly quiet and handle well. Very satisfied with them so far.

  • Good item, great price
The price was unbeatable and the ride is awesome. I had problems registering the tires but they seems to be pretty good at this point.

  • Westlake SU318, 275/60R17 Tires
It's been 13 months and only 6,500 miles on my F150 4x2, So far so good, I have a 2nd car I drive as well. I couldn't find any real specs on Westlake.com as to number of plys or steal belts, I do feel confident starting my 2nd winter season. The tread ware still looks nearly new, at this rate maybe 5 yrs from now it might be time to replace, will update next year Happy Holidays ... show more

  • good deal
So far(500 miles) these tires are an excellent bargain. I replaced the not totally worn out BFG long trail ta's on my 2001 Durango RT & the difference is amazing. We have had lots of rain in PA the last week & these tires have handled it way better than the BFG's did new. Time will tell on wear & whatnot. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is due to having to put a bit of extra work into balancing them. A Hunter Roadforce machine would have eliminated that...however I don't have it like that. ... show more
