    • Very Nice Paired with the Scroll Saw
This worked great with the WEN Scroll Saw that I purchased as well. It allows you to keep your hands on the work and stop the saw with the foot switch. It is great for stopping to move the piece you are working on to a new position.

    • Great foot pedal switch for my drill press and bandsaw
I got this so that i didn't constantly have to take my hand off my project while drilling multiple holes or cutting intricate shapes in wood on the bandsaw. Before, while cutting into a pattern on my bandsaw and then needing to stop and back the piece off the blade to start a new cut, I'd have to remove one had that was helping keep the piece in place a stable to reach up to turn off the saw. Now all I have to do is step on the pedal to start the saw and remove my foot to stop the saw. Never have to take my hands off the piece and take a chance on it shifting and ruining the cut. Same goes with drilling. I can plunge the drill, step off the pedal switch, let the drill come to a stop and then extract the bit from the hole when using Forstner bits or hole saw bits etc. I primarily use on the bandsaw but it's still very convenient for the drill press. The switch seems to be quite durable and has yet to give me any issues even with me stomping on it and running it over with carts and dollies. Just remember to turn off the power to your tool before walking away from it so that it doesn't unexpectantly start up when you don't want it to if you step on the pedal or set something down on it. Highly recommend for anything that you want to be able to control the power without having to constantly reach for a power switch (rotary tool, multi-tool, spindle sander, etc.) ... show more

    • Nice feature to add to power equipment
I used this on my scroll saw, where I needed to start and stop quickly. The best feature, it works like a dead-man switch. Take your foot off the pedal, it automatically shuts off.

    • Better Control For Your Saw
I added this WEN foot pedal switch to my band saw. I have one on each of my scroll saws so why not one on the band saw too. I think it helps to add control, especially if you're cutting delicate work with a 1/4" blade. I'm glad I got this.

    • Safety is never expensive.
As an occupational safety officer I recommend this device while operating dangerous machinery like routers, drills, saws and the like. It can also be useful for other users like compressors, lights and blenders.
