i used it on my apartment floor its grey im sure past residents have been rough on that poor floor but since i have OCD i wanted some kind of gloss on my floor to make it look nice and it did! Also my mom is a house keeper this product is not for mopping and mopping it will leave your floors looking ashy so for a cleaning product you might want look for something else but for a gloss this is your product!! I have 120-year-old wood floors in my house, they definitely have a lot of character! This stuff does wonders restoring their beauty! I do have quite a few small breed dogs that run all over the floor, this stuff does seem to wear out quicker than expected, so if you have medium to heavy traffic expect to be applying more coats! But this stuff is worth the price! ... show more

We moved into a home with dark, manufactured wood floors that had not been cleaned well and the surface was really dull. I could get them clean with damp mopping, but the finish had apparently been worn down from sand, etc. I wasn't sure if this product would work no manufactured wood floors, but finally decided that the top layer is real wood, so it should be ok. It was! I applied just one application of this product, after carefully sweeping and damp mopping the floors. It restored the floors to a nice luster. I didn't do a second coat -- I was quite pleased with the first coat. I've gotten several nice compliments on the floors since applying. I'll probably reapply about once a year. The floors look beautiful and new 3 months later. Great value! ... show more

I have an 1890 Victorian with georgeous maple floors. All of the bedroom floors were covered with carpet and had been that way for over 60 years. As a New Year's initiative I painstakingly ripped them up by hand. The floors were in good shape but very dull and very dry, starving for rejuvenation. I applied this product and they were immediately back to a beautifully shiney and hydrated condition. I waited a few hours and applied another coat which really filled in the light scratches. I did the rest of the bedrooms and they all came out beautiful, immediately ordered two more bottles. Two things, the instructions say to use a zig zag pattern which I totally agree with for the best even coat, and a second coat is very worth it. Also what I love is these look wet and slippery but they are totally not. I am someone who runs through the house in socks and there is only one time that I took a very minor skid and that was at a full sprint. Highly recommend! ... show more

My family lives in a large fixer-upper we have affectionately dubbed "Frankenhouse." A previous owner did 4 additions after completely gutting and re-formatting the entire home, but it still had a lot of the original hardwood from 1956. It was used as a contracting business at one point with constant in and out, and the sections with original hardwood WERE NOT taken care of, and I have tried many, many things to restore them. None of them really helped; they either left nasty build-up, no shine, or just made no difference at all. This stuff? Look at the before and after. It was super easy to apply once I cleaned my floors and let them dry, and the pictures are after two quick coats. I am stunned. There's no way to get these floors totally repaired shy of sanding them or replacing, but until we can do that, I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT THIS STUFF AGAIN!!! So thrilled! ... show more

We had previously purchased the minwax floor refinisher and loved that but it is a little on the pricey side and has a longer wait period for second coats and such so I found this one which seemed similar but at half the price and has a shorter waiting period And wow do I love this product! I applied two coats after I swept and cleaned the floor and it’s so shiny and smooth now! The application process is a little bit different than the minwax- you use a dry pad instead of wet but that was fine I purchased a cheap swiffer like reusable fabric pad and stick from the dollar store to apply this with and it worked like a dream. After finishing I just washed the pad with soap and water and let it dry overnight and it was good to use again Apply in the direction of the grain and make sure not to leave any bubbles behind. I recoated the floors after an hour with no issue! One bottle covered a 14x14 room twice with a decent amount leftover to do the hallway and touch ups Do make sure that you wait a full 24 hours (probably more) before trying to slide things on the floor- we made that rookie mistake when moving the couch on sliders back and it left streaks which I’m hoping will look new again with a little touch up coat So save your money and use this instead of minwax, you won’t regret it! ... show more

I was seriously considering getting my floors sanded and refinished until I found this product. I have two 70-80 lbs. dogs whose nails scratch my hardwood oak floors and drip water after they get a drink. Many planks had begun to have a greyish look which is the first sign of damage. This product has made them look great again. I'm sure no product can replace sanding/refinishing, but who wants to spend thousands of dollars? I sure don't. We will see how long this product lasts, but if I have to put it down a couple of times of year, I have no problem doing that if I can extend my floors for many more years. The product is very easy to apply and dried quickly. I don't like a super glossy look, so I only applied one coat. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it. ... show more
