I will have the length altered (I am 5’ 5”) and may need to top taken in a bit as well, but that is expected for formal even wear unless it’s custom made and cost hundred to thousands of dollars which I am not prepared to spend for a 10 hour day. This dress is beautiful. I usually wear a 16-18 and I ordered the XXL. The fit could not be more perfect and is actually a bit long. The lace is very comfortable and soft. The sleeves stretch nicely over my arms. It was bargain priced and I would buy from this company again. What a wonderful find.

So, this dress is absolutely beautiful. It’s very flattering and fits as it should. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. I’m 5’ 10” and 135 pounds, so finding a long dress with the right length is tricky. This one was an awkward length, hitting above the ankles. It might have been ok if I weren’t planning on wearing heels. This would be perfect for shorter women, or women who are ok with the length being just above the ankles. ... show more

Color was a beautiful pale blue. The material was soft & stretchy not overly thick, just right for spring/summer/very early fall. Did not have a chemical smell, just smelled “new”. The shape was very flattering for our daughter. After a few washes we did notice it started to get tight in the length, bust & arms. Also unfortunately our 5yr old put red nail polish on it so we had to improvise and dye most of the dress to match the stain. Another unfortunate is my daughter only got to try it on & never wear it as the blue color…. She said she likes the new look but still hasn’t worn it. Our daughter is 11 & 5’4” we got her a size M i want to say in this dress. When we get more funds we may purchase a new dress in a different color. *The photos taken 4mo apart ... show more

My daughter-in-law chose this dress for me for her wedding. I received compliments all night long on the way the dress fitted me. I did not have to size the dress. I ordered a four and it fit perfect. It was comfortable. The only issue I had was the wedding was in a field, and by the end of the night I had leaves in Spanish moss all over the dress on the bottom of the dress and I was taking care of my grand dog, so I even had a couple of dog toys attached to it that were Velcro toys.
