Ordered a liner for the back of my wife's 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee for Christmas (she put it on her wish list, not me!). I was surprised how quickly it arrived, and it fit the back of her car perfectly as advertised. The liner did not seem as thick as I was expecting, but it appears to be very durable and should meet our needs. I also thought at first that a stiffer "lip" around the edge would have been better to hold possible liquid spills, but now I think it is sufficient, and the softer lip should keep it from breaking if we put the back seat down and lay something heavy across the lip. Also felt the price was definitely worth the value. We will probably get some additional mats for the passenger and front floor boards. I highly recommend Weather Tech! ... show more

Love the weathertech products. Love the trunk liner - fits my Grand Cherokee perfectly. The mat design allows you to use the Weathertech cargo containment "blocks" so the watermelon in the back doesn't roll around while you drive home from the grocery store.

This liner fits my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee very well. It's rugged and strong and a bit lighter than some of the older, thick rubber mats, which I am glad of. Also, it doesn't have cutouts for the forward tie down connections behind the rear seats, which I am also glad about. In the very improbably case that I ever use these tie-downs, the liner will just lift and bend up out of the way. The rest of the 99.9999% of the time the unit will fit perfectly, look good and there won't be notches to have to deal with which will IMHO only eventually lead to tears. ... show more

Recently purchased a vehicle that came with weather tech floor liners, so I purchased this to match. It was the perfect size for the rear cargo area, and extremely easy to install. No smell and minimal thickness, overall great value.

Overall this is a useful addition to the Jeep. The rear cargo area 'carpet' material is prone to stains and difficult to clean and vacuum. Plant needles, weed stems and burrs firmly attach themselves the cargo area fabric. Fitment: The fit is good, but not ideal for me. Accessing the spare tire compartment for tools and misc supplies is made somewhat difficult because the 'cupped' side edges on the Weathertech liner firmly rub against the sides of cargo area, preventing the spare tire cover from being lifted easily or at all. Some may say the cargo area should be completely unloaded before accessing the spare tire compartment, but that is often inconvenient or unnecessary. Tested Solution: For a more compliant fit, trimming about 3/4" of material from each side of the Weathertech cargo liner prevents it from rubbing and 'catching' on the sides of the cargo area. To trim, place the cargo liner upside-down onto a large piece of waste cardboard (perhaps use the box the liner was shipped in). Drawing a line with a permanent marker on the bottom side of the liner may help guide your cut. Start the cut about 6-8 inches rearward of the front edge of the liner, to fully retain the rounded corners just behind the rear seat (they help hold the liner in place). Using a sharp utility knife and wearing gloves for safety, cut slowly and carefully. Scissors can work also. Lifting the spare tire cover with the liner, in place is now easy, with no binding. If the cargo in the car is light, you can leave it all there along with the WeaterhTech liner when accessing the spare tire compartment. Color: The "TAN" optional color is actually closer to a medium brown. While it does not match the lighter interior color of our Jeep, Weathertech is nonetheless one of a few (or only?) suppliers offering a several color options. Cleaning: Needless to say the new liner makes the cargo area easy to clean and vacuum, while protecting the original fabric. ... show more

    • Don't leave home with dogs - without it.

We have 3 dogs. Big, dumb, rescued, outdoor, adopted, mutt-heritage, farm dogs. They smell like dogs, and in the wet weather they smell strongly like wet dogs. (Sometimes mixed with a little whiff of skunk or whatever they were rolling in recently.) So - when faced with the possiblity of dumb stinky dogs inside a shiny new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee - the Weathertech mats are a necessity. Perfect fit, good traction on the surface, and 100% waterproof (with a little lip around the mat). Dogs go in, dogs go out. The doggie-smell can be hosed off and the mats are good-as-new. Highly recommend. Pricey but worth it. (I get to keep that new-car-smell a bit longer!) JDMc ... show more
