I have had books from the American Water Works Association before. These are excellent books for those who are looking into working for water utilities or interested in them. This particular text covers water distribution, where I had the most experience, both as an assistant pump technician and as a water treatment plant operator trainee back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. As an informed consumer with environmental science degrees I feel the want and need to know as much about the world as possible. Book is definitely worth the investment, it has helped me pass the class 2 water distribution, doesn't have everything you need to pass the exam like it claims, but is a great resource with good sample questions, also all the answers to the sample questions are in the back of the book so you know what the right answer is. ... show more
