*Edit / Update* Fast forward months later... my grandson asked me if I could buy him more "sock shoes" because he has outgrown them. He loves these so much, he can't go without them!! So here I am picking up more. I think I will get two this time - in two different colors. I just read some other reviews and am not sure how they can be both big and small (someone said). My grandson is a little guy and I went right by the size chart which is by age. He's 4.5 yrs old now so the 4-5 yr size will fit him good. If your child is larger / in higher percentile or has larger feet and / or chins/calves , then you will want to size up one! Also, the sock part does have a little bit of stretch. *original review* These sock shoes are perfect for kids. They are so comfortable our4 yr old wanted to sleep in them. Easy to put on and take off. Throw in the washer and air dry. The soles have good traction. Lightweight. Because I appreciate and value honest, unbiased and insightful reviews myself, I want to provide the same in my reviews. Below is my star rating criteria. 1 STAR - Arrived damaged , broke quickly or completely unusable. Refund needed. 2 STAR - Did not meet expectations based on description details. Wouldn't re-purchase. Quality is subpar. Wouldn't recommend. 3 STAR - Product is as described and met my expectation but may have a quality to value issue or minor flaws. Would only recommend under specific circumstances. 4 STAR - Product is as described, met my expectations and is good quality. My granddaughter absolutely LOVES these SO much!! I was a little concerned (due to some other reviews I read), that they might be a bit difficult for her to get on, but they weren't at all!! Maybe because she is thin - I'm not sure. She was able to easily pull them right up on to her feet easily without any help (she is 4 years old, but smallish for her age). They fit her PERFECTLY and she says they are super comfortable. She was so excited that they were both socks AND shoes. Me too! So easy. And her favorite color is pink. also, the fuchsia will be really easy to find in a creative, messy house full of children, animals, toys, etc. And no more having to even worry about socks if in a hurry or they are all dirty, etc. Kudos to the daddy who invented these. My only complaint was that when they arrived, there WERE a handful of white threads peeping through on the top near the toes on both of them. However, I did not feel like going to the hassle to return them and I knew she wouldn't care about such perfection herself. So I just let that go. For the price though - really - those threads shouldn't have been there. Not worth deducting a star for in my rating though - as I do not see such in any of the photos others have posted, so I think it was just a fluke that our pair had them ;-)

Really, really wanted to love these. I got the biggest size there is for my 3 year old and they were JUUUUUUUST right, like will last a few weeks kind of just right. So I wish they made bigger sizes for one (maybe even adult sizes!). Secondly, they were so hard to put on! My daughter loved them and always wanted them on, but I dreaded it because it was so hard to get on because they're really quite tight. For some reason, one foot was easier to get on than the other one, but it would still take a good amount of time to get on. Once they were on, though, they were great and really, actually waterproof! But my kid is at the stage where shoes don't stay on, she wants them constantly on and off, and I just couldn't do it anymore, and I'm sure they don't fit anymore anyway. At least she got a bit of use out of them, and a bit of fun after as hand shoes 🤣. Anyway, bottom line, with an expanded size range and a bit of improvement in fit, I'd buy them again. As is, though, it was a bit of a pricey buy and didn't get much out of it.

I ordered these for my 4 year old, but somehow they are both too big and too small. The foot part is too big, but she also says that the part that goes over her ankle and calf is too tight and uncomfortable. I’m not entirely surprised that the foot part is too big (my daughter wears a size 8 in little kids), but my daughter is also very slender, so for the foot to be too big and the calf to be too small, well that just doesn’t make sense. My daughter also complained that it hurts her heel. Unfortunately we have not had a chance to test out how water resistant they are since they are too comfortable to play in. Too bad, I really was excited for these.

I recently bought these shoes for my toddler. They are very cute and seem well made. However, they run a bit small. I would recommend ordering a size up if you are between sizes.

The sock part of this is tiny. My 12 month old couldn't even get these on his feet. They are very stiff and not as flexible as I would like them to be. I couldn't use them since they didn't fit. This would work if you have a little one that with very tiny calves.
