This worked really well. I have a box set of Rolex openers with the long handle. It just wouldn't give me enough purchase on the caseback to open a rather stubborn one. This handle allows for a much better grip and downward force. I was able to remove the caseback. Its also a good quality item.

The wrench is well crafted and the fit is precise. Make sure that the case is properly secured and that the proper amount of pressure is applied to maintain contact between the wrench and case back.

It worked well enough and got the case back off of my Rolex knock off within a minute. The "teeth" did not feel like they were positively engaged and almost felt like they were slipping, but despite the feeling of no grip, it did get the case cover off after several rotations. I chose the knob style thinking that I could remove the case cover without removing the wrist band, I was wrong. The knob is much bigger and taller than I imagined and would not fit with the wrist strap in place, so the T-shaped version may be a better choice if you don't want to remove the strap. This is a value priced single-purpose tool for occasional hobbyist, it gets the job done without big investment, so buy with confidence that it will work, but don't expect it to be a finely machined precision instrument. ... show more
