  • Dissolves in water.
You can print your design right into these. You can do it right from the home printer. I can spaced out my design and play with a color scheme on the computer before committing to it with thread and needle. It’s a great way to keep my design consistent in size and have an outcome that looks really professional. They’re really easy to use. You simply work on your design through the computer, print, then you stick it on to your fabric. You embroider right through the design. It reminds me of Paint books I had as a kid that you would paint with water and the design would appear. I just stitch what I’ve already laid out and when I’m done it’s always perfect. I always test on a discreet area of the factory to make sure it’s compatible with dissolving. ... show more

  • Adhesive doesn’t dissolve
The adhesive does not dissolve, I soaked overnight in warm water, washed it, attempted fabric softener and it still remains on my project. Will not be using again, waste of money! Also mine did not come with the advertised vintages heart wreath pattern. Disappointed and have to start my project over by buying a new sweatshirt ... show more

  • Not recommended, glue does not dissolve
+ Glue sticks to fabric + Is printable, and works with printers - Only partially dissolves in water - Leaves behind sticky residue This product gets 1 start because this stabilizer leaves behind glue when submerged in water. Completely defeats the purpose of why someone would want to use this in the first place. The adhesive has to be completely weak (e.g. when you remove and reattached multiple times) in the first place to even be removed from the fabric when you dunk your project in water. And in this scenario, it's because the entire stabilizer is lifting away from the fabric, rather than actually dissolving. Comparison to the equivalent product from Sulky: If you take a cut of this stabilizer, completely submerge it in cold water, and wait 2-3 minutes. You will notice that the non-adhesive material completely dissolves, while the thin film of glue is left behind. This never completely dissolves, and when stretched, creates a sticky web that only disintegrates into smaller solid pieces of glue. If you take a cut of Sulky stabilizer, perform the same steps, you will see both the glue and the non-adhesive side completely dissolve away by turning into a blue foam that can be brushed away with your finger after the same amount of time. WAY BETTER. ... show more

  • Adhesive glue doesn’t dissolve
I followed the directions in the “manual” and not all the adhesive dissolved. Basically it ruined a project I spent a few days working on.

  • DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!
After spending hours embroidering on a shirt the product WOULD NOT wash away. Left behind glue that you cannot get off even after machine washing, leaving to soak in water overnight, and hand rinsing and brushing with a toothbrush!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! They don’t even have a mailing address on the product to contact the company by mail!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER BOUGHT ON AMAZON!! Waste of money and time not to mention that the shirt was ruined! ... show more

  • Just skip this one
It was fine while I was working on my project. It did start to fuzz up badly, to the point I needed to trim the surface to see the lines. IT DOES NOT DISSOLVE IN WATER! The top layer will, but not the adhesive. My project will take longer to salvage than it did to create.
