Looks nice, but make sure its what you want & where you want. Its very hard to remove. It was easy to cut & apply. I recommend painting them for extra protection cause they will rip easy if bumped with something sharp.

The info said it was 8 millimeters thick. That’s not correct. Each panel comes folded and one unit folded is what measures 8 mil. The opened full panel is about 3 or 4 millimeters. That was very disappointing to me as I wanted to use it for noise reduction, now I feel it won’t do anything as thin as it is. Will need to add something else. The design is nice (smart brick), like small bricks but with variation in sizes. Just has the shine of plastic. I will paint it so that’s not a problem. Still for painting will have to do more research. Company says it can be painted using acrylic paint. Other sites say it won’t stick. So now I’m not sure. I’m planning on using it over 4x8’ insulation boards (will use them for thickness) in my master bedroom, on the wall against next room. Walls are wood panels super thin so it needs more density. I haven’t finish my project, so can’t do a full review. Will update the review as soon as I install them. UPDATE-Tiles are installed. Installation is tricky as the adhesive is SUUPPERR sticky and will be all around your fingers. I tried start on a corner and go peeling slowly while accommodating. I noticed tiles are a cream white but very transparent. So as I was putting the first one over my faces panels I noticed I could see the aluminum face side and all the writing on it. So I had to detach the tile (and broke part of it as if you pull it will break) to remove the whole layer over the panels to leave the foam plain. Any dark spot in the back will be seen through the tiles. On the positive they can be detached slowly and carefully to fix position. I did cut the sides borders to connect better the design. Not bad. Then I did a layer of true white acrylic paint. Will do a mix of washed greige tones over them to match my walls. I think I like it so far. ... show more

Its a great idea and could be an Excellent product but it has far too many flaws. Which makes it not worth the time. Let me explain but first let's start with the positives. PROS: - Large panels cover a lot of ground very quickly - The foam hides a multitude of surface imperfections. I actually applied this right on top of Plywood and OSB. Looks great for what it is. - Cuts very easy. - It's cheap (this is also a con). - less steps than traditional drywall and paint. CONs: - If you trying to give the look of the waves flowing across multiple panels....Good luck. The patterns do not line up. - The glue is very sticky. So much so the panels stick to each other. Then when you pull them apart you damage the edges. - the backing seems thinner than typical copy paper. So as you pull the wax paper backer off it tears no matter what you do. The result is that glue all over your fingers. Not to mention the ridiculous time it takes (WITH tweezers) to get the smaller pieces of wax paper off. I lost is so many times. The big issue is once you apply it it does not come off very easily. Since it is foam it falls apart pretty easily and you have foam residue on your walls. so you are pretty much committed at the first panel. This stuff is so cheap!!! The panel itself could be decent but I have zero confidence in it. they say it is waterproof but honestly I would not believe it. This product could have been so much better if they simply made the backer so much thicker. I have tried two other varieties of tis foam panels and they all have the same issues. So if you don't mind investing 3-4 times the amount of time peeling the backer off than actually installing the panel (that is not an exaggeration) and have a wall less than the width of the panel...this could be the product for you. For me...I say wall paper is a far better option than this. ... show more
