My girlfriend bought me these snowshoes and I used them once and had them in the bed of my truck along with sandbags that had frozen after being water soaked. The guy in front of me slammed on his brakes and I had to do the same and the frozen sand bags launched towards the cab of the truck at Mach 9 and destroyed not only the snowshoes but the bed of my truck. These were purchased as a gift and she loved them. Worked great for the semi flat terrain they were used on but I’m not sure I’d trust them to hold up to really heavy use in rugged conditions. Ratcheting buckles made them easy to get on and off

Work perfectly. Lightweight and stay on well. The only complain is the design of the back strap - a little hard to adjust . Once it's on it is good though.

I've never owned snowshoes before but have friends that have used them for years. I wasn't quite sure what to be looking for when I decided to buy these and didn't bother them to ask for advice. So....a crap shoot?? I was very surprised when I got these in the mail and tried them for the first time. Love everything about these showshoes except for the heal strap, which does not want to stay. Wish they had ratchet buckles like the other 2 straps.

Haven't gotten the chance to use them yet, but they look great and seem like they'll be sturdy enough. The carrying case that comes with the snowshoes did arrive pretty moldy, which I think some other reviews mentioned as well. The box wasn't wet or anything, so I'd assume this is something that can definitely be prevented through better quality control on the part of the seller, as the product was most likely moldy at the warehouse or wherever it was kept prior to shipping. ... show more

    • Hard to keep tight
I like the snow shoes okay, but the buckle for the back of the heel is a poor design. When I was trying to walk, the buckle continued to loosen, so I fell. Eventually I took it off and had to walk home. Disappointed!!

Heel strap retainers are not placed properly allowing strap to come loose. Had to stop frequently to reattach. There is no way to fix this problem and cannot return as already used them. Bag is too small for poles.
