this is actual thread or string of some kind. Cute but not what I was expecting, the tiny purple ":flowers" are not attatched with any type of edheasive, its just static that holds the purple to the green anything

This miniature vine material is similar to what is referred to as moss in many miniature kits. It is a soft and stretchable material that is able to be used in clumps or stretched to create more of a growing vine effect. This one has purple material added to simulate flowers on the vine. The purple material was soft and squishy as well. Unfortunately, it seems the purple material is not actually attached to the green vine material in any way and it sheds off of the vine material extremely easy. I used some of the product to add some flowering vine to a miniature house and once stretched correctly, it does add quite a nice look. I picked up these Warmtree miniature vines for an action figure diorama project, and they’re honestly some of the nicest small-scale foliage pieces I’ve used. The color is rich without looking cartoonish, and the texture has just enough variation to feel realistic when you tuck it along buildings, fences or rocky terrain. They’re lightweight and easy to glue down, and they drape naturally without fighting you, which makes placing them on slopes or around corners really simple. For model railways or diorama work, they add a lot of life with very little effort. I ended up liking them much more than I expected and will definitely be buying more from this brand. They blend well with other scenery materials, and the density of the vines means you can get multiple small scenes out of a single pack. If you’re building anything that needs a touch of greenery or overgrowth, these work great and feel like a good value. ... show more

Flocked string to use as vines is very clever and these look really good. I went with the flowerless variety and the color is good and very natural looking. They are also very light so they'll be easy to glue into place on a diorama or gaming terrain. This one box will keep me in creeper vines for a long time. A+!     • A fair amount of product for a diorama or model scene

This Warmtree miniature vines is one of the items I had some issue with. The one I requested has the pinkish flowers and firstly I'd say they were more of a salmon color. Near pink. I used a large piece of cardboard on my table before I opened the pack. I'm glad I did because a lot of the "flowers" were loose in the pack. When I removed the mass of material, a lot of them ended up loose on the board. I recommend using a tote or wide rimmed container to model in so as to contain all of the small bits. The vine material I thought might be in a folded sheet, but it seemed to be just a mass of the material and I found it actually hard to manage without using a hobby knife and scissors to cut it into pieces I could use on my model railway. In the end I really think this would be better if it were made in sheets with flowers on one side, and then carefully folded into a package. I ended up with loose flowers which I will save and try to use later. ... show more

I've never bought miniature vine material before but this was very pleasant for a 1st time experience. The moss is a sort of yarn like material, wispy, and was easy enough to use and apply. I got the plain green and the color was consistent throughout. It did not stain my fingers, (like many 'natural' options do- moss mostly) and wasn't prone to a lot of debris. It was of good amount and I ended up with a ton left over so this isn't lacking in supply. The price is fair given the quality I am seeing and the fact it's shipped right to you. I got white since I can easy photoshop it to a different color. :) Sooo…I was hoping that this was going to be different than what I already have but it’s the same, just pre-made. It’s extremely stretchy, lightweight and wispy nylon-like moss with flower powder/flocking attached. Both of which you can can buy in bulk and have a bigger quantity for almost the same price.
