Description

Size:Twin | Color:Twin Size 72"x90" Warm and Natural Cotton Batting: Twin Size 90 by 72-inch. This batting will not separate; bunch or beard. This 100-percent USA grown cotton is punched with hundreds of needles through a thin base material (polymer fibers) to prevent tearing; shifting; migrating or creeping through the cover fabric making it 87-1/2-percent cotton/12-1/2-percent polymer fibers. Needled cotton's flexibility makes it ideal for both inside and outside use. Fibers are held together without glue so a quilting needle glides easily through the batting. What an incredible difference. No need to pre-wash; machine washable after quilted; can be used as an exterior fabric; quilt up to 10-inch apart; easily dyes and your fabric will cling to the batting while quilting. Made in USA.

While I did not buy this batting for quilting, it was perfect for my sofa. I have a 1960s sofa and due to age, the foam seating pads were loosing their “padding power” and the cover was starting to sag. The foam is glued to the frame so I didn’t want to replace it. I needed just a thing layer of padding to make the seats full again. This batting was perfect for that! Soft, thin and just enough thickness to give my sofa that little bit of fullness it needed. While I think this would make a nice summer blanket, it has some great uses if you need to add padding/softness to furniture. ... show more

So I don’t have much to compare this to because it’s the only brand I’ve used, but I’ve made four quilts with it so far and I think it works great, it’s soft, lightweight, and dries quickly (I washed and then hung my quilts to dry). It is thin but I like it that way, it keeps me warm when I’m cuddled up on the couch. The price is good and I plan on purchasing again. ... show more

I only use Warm Company batting in my quilts. It is a very high quality batting at a great price. Natural cotton batting is always recommended by professional quilters. Warm Company 100% cotton batting works especially well for Quilt As You Go (QAYG) quilting. The fabric sticks very well to the batting without pins or basting spray. Natural 100% cotton is also recommended for baby quilts. Polyester batting can melt with heat so I always use 100% cotton in my baby quilts and for my pot holders. I recommend Warm Company Batting to all of my quilting friends. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these. I pulled one out of the package and it had a funny smell. Nothing that I would want near my face as I slept. I opened the corner of the second one, same strange smell but not as strong. After checking with my online quilt groups, I found this was not a one time problem for Warm & Natural. Warm & Natural is my favorite quilt batting. It is soft and easy to work with. Out of the package it is usually wrinkled and creased from being folded, but it smoothes out easily without stretching or needing to iron it. This batting works very well with spray basting (I use 507). It feels a little stiff after quilting and the first wash, but after some use the quilt softens up and feels like a quilt should. I've used Warm & Natural for 10+ quilts and have never had any trouble. Highly recommended! ... show more
