  • Honest review of Kindle paperwhite sleeve.
Color: Gray
This is perfect for traveling to protect my Kindle paperwhite. I didn’t want a cover as it makes the kindle heavy. This sleeve is lightweight, will fit in my purse or backpack easily and now my screen won’t get scratched. It fits tight in the sleeve so it won’t slip around, it is a good value for the price. It has a nice feel very soft but sturdy. The closure is magnetic and is strong enough that it won’t come open from being jostled around. It very easy to remove and use. I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • A nice, minimalist sleeve to protect your screen
Color: Gray
I have bought this case 4 times now, for different e-readers. It’s a nice travel sleeve to protect your Kindle from getting scratches on the screen. This is for people who don’t have their Kindle in a case though; it’s a snug fit for the device, even without a case. I prefer the magnetic flap style over sleeves/pouches that have zippers, buttons, or snaps, because it’s faster and easier to take my e-reader out. It also doesn’t take up too much space in my purse. ... show more

  • Good protection for Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen, even with a Pop Socket!
Color: Gray
I don’t like to use a cover for my new Kindle Paperwhite as I like its naked weight and feel. However, it seems vulnerable when lying on the table or in a bag. I saw this WALNEW Sleeve Case and it looked like it fit my needs. Simple and inexpensive protection. . My only concern was whether the Pop Socket would make the Kindle too tight of a fit. Fortunately, my fears were unfounded. The Kindle slides in snugly and won’t slide out easily. It’s like a credit card sliding into and out of the slot in your wallet. The Pop Socket obviously makes a bulge in the case. I think having the Pop Socket on the backside of the case is best as I typically will lay the case down with the flap facing up. That way the screen is up and the Pop Socket is down on the hard table surface. It doesn’t sit flat, but that’s fine. Also, it is easier to insert the Kindle and not have the Pop Socket catch on the front edge of the case. You can avoid that on the flap as the Kindle goes into the case first then the Pop Socket passes the flap edge, which you can swing back out of the way. . I slide the Kindle in top-first. The Power button is then at the flap end and that ensures the button is not accidentally activated on full insertion. I think that’s a minor risk as the sewn lapped edge at the bottom of the case tapers up to full depth and isn’t going to touch the button when you push the Kindle fully down in the case. There’s plenty of clearance for the power button to the folded “hinge” of the flap and I can guarantee not to touch the button sliding the Kindle in that way. . The material inside the case is a fabric lining. It is not a soft velour-type material, so the Kindle is not cushioned a great deal. I would have perhaps preferred a microfiber-type surface against my Kindle! The flap appears to have a stiff layer sewn inside it, unlike the rest of the case. My guess is it is cardboard, based on the sounds it makes when you flex it. I suggest not folding the flap as it will likely end up wrinkled with a crease in it (as another reviewer mentioned) or a crack! I had a winter hat that had a peak just like that! I’m surprised a hard material layer wasn’t sewn into one face of the case, to protect the screen from point pressure. That would be a nice feature. The two magnets do a good job of holding the flap closed. They are small and won’t harm the electronics at all. There’s no branding on the case, which surprises me, but I think this is likely a generic case, made in China, which several vendors will offer. . The overall construction is excellent and the outer material feels very durable. I’m sure that, with time, the case material will soften up and the Kindle will be a slightly looser fit. Its function will not be affected though. . CONCLUSION: I can recommend this case. 😊 At $15, it is a good quality, well-made item at an affordable price. And it fulfills its basic function of protecting yours and my Pop Socketed Kindle from scratches and minor drops. ... show more

  • Beautiful case, super snug fit.
Color: Gray
This is a very beautiful case. The felt material feels good and premium in the hand. While I appreciate the protection it provides, I found my Kindle Colorsoft to fit way too snug. I like to personalize my Kindle with a clear backing, and while I was able to make it fit, it was extremely difficult. If you use a full cover, it won't fit at all (I guess this is by design). In the end, if you like your Kindle plain, then this may be great for you. If you have any kind of cover, then keep the fit in mind. ... show more

  • Perfect for paperwhite 2024
Color: Gray
Perfect fit for Kindle Paperwhite 2024. Strong magnetic closure, soft interior and nice exterior. Feels more premium than the coat would suggest. Would recommend!

  • very nice looking and takes up little space - good for travel
Color: Pink
I've been using my 7th gen Kindle for years with an origami case with a magnetic wake cover, but I also travel full time and with it jostling around in my luggage, even fairly tightly packed, I think the cover would shift and wake my Kindle up because even in airplane mode, I was loosing battery super quickly. I'd put it in my bag fully charged and get to my next destination with it at 80%. So I decided to ditch the cover and opt for a pouch and use the e-reader "naked." I like it much better! And after trying another zipper case option that was way too big, this one is nice and trim and my Kindle feels very protected. It is a little roomy since my Kindle is so old, but I put a hand strap on it and it all fits well into this cover. It looks and feels great and seems like it takes up hardly any room at all. I will say, I have to be careful how I slide my Kindle into the pouch - if I get the side of it too close to the magnets, it will turn on. Which I can manage by putting it in backwards or upside-down, but mainly, I just have to pay attention. ... show more

  • Cute but tight fit
Color: Pink
I have the 12th generation Kindle Paperwhite, which is supposed to fit in this sleeve. It wouldn’t fit my Kindle with a slim case on until I widened it by moving my hand around inside the sleeve. Even then, it barely fit. The sleeve is even snug around the Kindle without a case in. Hopefully it’ll become a little looser with time. I got the pink one and the color is gorgeous. The sleeve also looks and feels high quality with a soft suede type of feel. I also think it will last a long time, seems sturdy. Anyway, I will update this review in about a month to update in the fit. ... show more
