They’re a bit long for me, but I’m 5’3 and most of that is torso. The material is very thin and lightweight, which I’m loving in the heat & humidity.     • Kept trying until I found some that fit
Size: 7 Short Color: Galaxy
I had a difficult time trying to find what size would work, as the older versions of these jeans run smaller. I am 5'4" 134#'s. In the newer ones I needed a size 7 short. I bought: 1. the Galaxy color and really like the style and coloring. The back bling flap pockets look retro-groovy, but also keeps your wallet and any stored items from falling out of your pockets. The 7 short I thought fit o.k. when trying on initially. Update: I had put these in my closet and not worn b/c it was summer, and was wearing another similar pair of these off and on. By September 1st I pulled these out and wore 2-1/2 to 3 days. I noticed 2 problems after washing and wearing: 1. They kept falling down, so I measured the rise, and found that on this pair (Galaxy) - the rise was almost 10 inches! The size chart states the rise on size 7 short is 9.3". The pair I got measured 9.8" to 9.9"! I did not notice when initially trying on, b/c the fabric is more stiff. I did not notice until after washing and wearing, then I noticed they were falling down and forming a pleat in my lap in front. 2. Then I noticed the elastic in the crotch area was already starting to show signs of 'blowing out' which creates a bubbling/rippling out in the fabric. I only washed 1 time, and wore these 2-1/2 to 3 days. And these were not too tight, but became baggy in the crotch area after wearing, b/c the rise was too high. I was really sorry, b/c I liked the overall color and style. I ended up donating them as I was past the return window and could not wear them falling down with the too high rise. I measured another pair of these same jeans I had bought - 2. the Cypress: and those were just over 9 inches at the rise, so they fit better and more accurate to the description. I still wear these and they fit and look fine, no bagging out at the crotch b/c the rise is near 9". (If they seem too baggy in front, measure the rise (crotch seam to top of waistband) as it seems to vary). Note: Check everything before the return window is up, as I put them away till fall, and then could not return or get a refund as the return window had passed. The stretch fabric should last more than 3 wears! Reducing the original 5 star rating to 4 for these problems. They are still attractive jeans, and comfortable, just some inconsistencies in sizing/rise height. 3. Tried the Andrea these have the the cool bling/embroidered back flap pockets. The legs are baggier/wider than the Cypress, at least 1" wider top to bottom when I compared. They still look good and I can wear them with boots with a wider shaft b/c the legs are wider. These 2 styles had the better fitting rise height at 9", which is closer to a true mid-rise and fit better even after wash and wear. ... show more

These jeans are really comfortable and stretchy. The material is quality & soft on the skin. I own atleast 6 pair because my job requires a lot of physical work.     • 4 pairs that are SO different from each other
Size: 24 Plus Long Color: Black
I bought 4 pairs and I've had them all for about a quite some time. Betsy Legacy, Black, Jenna, Twinkle. All 4 are 24 Long. All 4 fit differently due to the difference in the waist sizes. I am 44yo, 5'9", 270lb. Currently in weight loss--have lost 50 lb so far. Holding off buying new jeans for maybe another 6 months. Here are my reviews: Betsy Legacy: about 2 inches larger in the waist than the smallest (Jenna). I bet i could have worn them at my highest weight--50 lbs ago. I should probably have returned and sized down, but I almost never return things. I can currently pull them on and off with the button and zipper done up. They are not super loose at the waist--just stretchy enough to pull off. They are more of a straight and semi-wide leg--less of a true bootcut that goes in at the knee and and out to make room for the boot. I do kind of wonder if i sized down, if they would look more like a boot-cut and less baggy. I like the wash, so i might decide to size down later. I don't really like them because they look baggy and wide-legged, but I wear them maybe once a week with a tighter shirt to maybe even it out? I don't know if it's working. Black: fit the same as Betsy Legacy. Waist is 2 inches larger than the smallest pair (Jenna). More wide-legged and baggy than a true boot-cut, but i wonder if i sized down if they would look more bootcut. I can pull them on and off while zipped/buttoned. They material isn't totally jean-like, more of a mix between slacks and jeans. The problem with this pair is that even after dozens of washes, they still have a super weird smell that they came with out of the box. It has not lessened at all. I wear them probably once a week--usually on the weekend. Jenna: Smallest pair for sure. I couldnt wear them until i had lost about 40 lbs. But I LOVE how they fit on my legs. Wide boot-cut that comes in the most at the knees---almost flare-like. They are a tiny bit tight at the waist on me still, but I'm proud that I can fit in them and they look super good. The zipper stopped working almost immediately once I lost enough weight that I could wear them. but I use a hair tie to hold it up. One of the two buttons popped off at the top, it wasn't sewn in very well. I absolutely should have returned them, but I still wear them once a week just because the zipper/button situation is annoying. But I'd wear them everyday if they worked properly. I should have returned them, but I'm just going to wait until I feel like I can size down. Twinkle: I wear these the most. Absolutely perfect fit. Had to wait for them to fit until I had lost about 20 lbs. And now after 50 lbs lost they fit absolutely perfectly--only slightly loose. The tiniest bit of baggie-ness. Not flare-like, like the Jenna--definitely a true boot cut. The zipper broke early so I have to use a hair tie. I will replace them with a smaller size once I've lost enough weight. Isn't it so weird that the stretchy material in women's jeans makes the same pair wearable at so many different weights? ... show more

These are so comfortable. I love them. I bought the short length and it's still to long for me but I am 5foot tall so most things are long on me. Love the color and stretch to them. They are so comfortable for all day wear.

Finally some jeans that fit! I’m 5’2” and weigh somewhere between 105-110 lbs and ordered a size 1 short. Ive been having a hard time finding pants made in sizes small enough to fit me. They were always too loose in the waist and hips even when ordering the smallest sizes available. These fit nicely at the waist and hips. They aren’t too long and the material feels nice with some stretch to them. So happy to finally find jeans that fit well and feel and look flattering on me.
