They’re a bit long for me, but I’m 5’3 and most of that is torso. The material is very thin and lightweight, which I’m loving in the heat & humidity. These jeans ended up being exactly what I was looking for. They’re soft, stretchy, and comfortable enough to wear all day at work without feeling restrictive. The bootcut is flattering and gives a nice shape without being too wide. For reference, I’m 5’8”, 116 lbs, and purchased the “Grace” wash in a size 0. I do think they run a bit large, so I’d recommend sizing down. The denim also has a lot of stretch, so the fit relaxes slightly throughout the day, which makes them really comfortable for long shifts. ... show more

    • Nice looking jeans, but styles and colors fit differently
Size: 11 Short Color: Galaxy
I really like the Wallflower Luscious Curvy Bootcut jeans, but I was having much difficulty finding the correct size. I found the size 11's fit more like a size 13, and the size 9's fit more ike a size 11, so they run big. (There seems to be a huge size gap between the size 9's and 7's, so that the 7's fit snug and 9's way too big). So I can't find a size that fit's a comfortable loose fit, that is not too tight without going way too big, sadly, as these are tighter/more snug in the waist in the 7's but the 9's are a way too big sloppy fit that just falls down. Also watch while you are shopping online to double check the size before purchasing, as the sizing gets all mixed up during the search, and you can order the wrong size by mistake. This happend and I had to return some orders! The Luscious Curvy Bootcut jeans do run larger than the Wallflower "The Legendary Fit" Bootcut jeans. I can wear a size 9 short in the Legendary and they fit perfect. But, they seem to unravel easily/have a lot of loose threads. I like the fabric better on the Luscious Curvy Bootcut and they seem to be made better, but "The Legendary Fit" style fit better. Next I tried the Luscious Curvy Bootcut size 7 short Betsy jeans (dark blue denim with faded marks) which fit really odd, they must have been defects: 1. The jeans fit too loose and baggy through the hips, so loose they bagged way down in front forming a pouch in front of the hips and at the crotch, but then the legs were too skin tight, and 2. The right leg was noticably tigher than the left, a defect. Such an odd fit, they just did not seem to be sewn correctly, or defects; so I returned them 3. The Luscious Curvy Bootcut Cypress are light blue denim. These fit in the size 7 short (and did Not bag out at the hips or form a huge pouch in front). These only formed a minor crease in front of the hips, and both legs fit the same. Finally one that fits! I am sure they will fit even better after washing/drying. If you have the time and patience, keep trying untiil you find one that fits right. I like how the Cypress looks and fits, and the thinner jean fabric works well for summer, and love the flap bling pockets. ... show more

As a mom of two babies and having to have a c-section both times (iykyk) .. I’ve hated how I look in jeans… they don’t support me…they split me in sections despite the fit .. they’re just NOT IT. I was pleasantly surprised to see these offered as I wore them in my “youth”.. aka before popping both gremlins. Unfortunately, I have an apron belly and loose skin from losing 98 pounds… these jeans are by far the most flattering and comfortable jeans I have ever worn.. The price point is great and even better when it’s on sale. I love the dark wash. I have these jeans and three different colors and oddly different colors have different amounts of stretch . Some have less than others so unfortunately that’s the only downside is the inconsistency in that. The pockets are fully functional, which is wonderful. I look wicked hot riding my motorcycle in these… and my ass is bodacious. I’ve not noticed any shrinkage and I’ve had to a pair for a year and they’re still looking new. My spouse likes that they are not “Mom jeans and “don’t go up to your tits”. I was extremely surprised when I was able to fit into a size 9 juniors… I don’t know if they run a little big.. i’m about a size 10 and everything so the 11 was too big. There is no waist gap so no worries and I don’t have to constantly pull them up in the back. They fit well and unlike other jeans, they don’t stretch all weird throughout the day and I can actually get multiple ways out of them and have them still feel like I just put them on. ... show more

    • 4 pairs that are SO different from each other

I bought 4 pairs and I've had them all for about a quite some time. Betsy Legacy, Black, Jenna, Twinkle. All 4 are 24 Long. All 4 fit differently due to the difference in the waist sizes. I am 44yo, 5'9", 270lb. Currently in weight loss--have lost 50 lb so far. Holding off buying new jeans for maybe another 6 months. Here are my reviews: Betsy Legacy: about 2 inches larger in the waist than the smallest (Jenna). I bet i could have worn them at my highest weight--50 lbs ago. I should probably have returned and sized down, but I almost never return things. I can currently pull them on and off with the button and zipper done up. They are not super loose at the waist--just stretchy enough to pull off. They are more of a straight and semi-wide leg--less of a true bootcut that goes in at the knee and and out to make room for the boot. I do kind of wonder if i sized down, if they would look more like a boot-cut and less baggy. I like the wash, so i might decide to size down later. I don't really like them because they look baggy and wide-legged, but I wear them maybe once a week with a tighter shirt to maybe even it out? I don't know if it's working. Black: fit the same as Betsy Legacy. Waist is 2 inches larger than the smallest pair (Jenna). More wide-legged and baggy than a true boot-cut, but i wonder if i sized down if they would look more bootcut. I can pull them on and off while zipped/buttoned. They material isn't totally jean-like, more of a mix between slacks and jeans. The problem with this pair is that even after dozens of washes, they still have a super weird smell that they came with out of the box. It has not lessened at all. I wear them probably once a week--usually on the weekend. Jenna: Smallest pair for sure. I couldnt wear them until i had lost about 40 lbs. But I LOVE how they fit on my legs. Wide boot-cut that comes in the most at the knees---almost flare-like. They are a tiny bit tight at the waist on me still, but I'm proud that I can fit in them and they look super good. The zipper stopped working almost immediately once I lost enough weight that I could wear them. but I use a hair tie to hold it up. One of the two buttons popped off at the top, it wasn't sewn in very well. I absolutely should have returned them, but I still wear them once a week just because the zipper/button situation is annoying. But I'd wear them everyday if they worked properly. I should have returned them, but I'm just going to wait until I feel like I can size down. Twinkle: I wear these the most. Absolutely perfect fit. Had to wait for them to fit until I had lost about 20 lbs. And now after 50 lbs lost they fit absolutely perfectly--only slightly loose. The tiniest bit of baggie-ness. Not flare-like, like the Jenna--definitely a true boot cut. The zipper broke early so I have to use a hair tie. I will replace them with a smaller size once I've lost enough weight. Isn't it so weird that the stretchy material in women's jeans makes the same pair wearable at so many different weights? ... show more
