I bought 4 of these and covered walls in my daycare. If you want to see pictures of this mural and many more that I bought from this company, there are pictures on my website corascottage.com. I bought 6 here on amazon (3 different patterns), and I liked them so much that I went to their website (this pattern is not on their website oddly) and bought 10 more (every room has a different theme). I was NOT HAPPY that they held my order up because I spent too much money. I had to do some lame verification paperwork before they would process my order. It was not only inconvenient, but wasted time I did not have as my grand opening was only a week away from when I finally got my order. I was hanging murals until late every night because of their redundant paperwork (I'm sure my credit card company could have told them if I had the money or not). So, some things to know: Got 20% off at their website, but shipping took much longer than amazon Very very quick and easy to hang as long as your first piece is level (use a level not the wall) Of course, it does get easier with practice. The darker colors and patterns hide more and the lines where the seams overlap (about 1/4 inch wide) are more noticeable on the lighter colors (it still looks nice, but you do see the seams.) I strongly suggest priming first. The material is thin, and you can see through it somewhat, especially the lighter colors. Priming makes it stick better and easier to remove later. Very sticky, but easy to reposition. I took entire pieces off and put them on another part of the wall and there was no problem with sticking. I even used leftover pieces to cover the back of some low shelves that had the ugly brown paperboard on them. Your surface should be as smooth and nonporous as you can get it. The smoother and nonporous the surface, the quicker and easier installation will be. I got some 4x8 sheets of the brown paperboard at home depot for 6 bucks a sheet and put them up where the wall texture was really thick, the I primed them. that was so easy and I can easily take it down and move it to a new location in the future. It does emit an odor for about a day from the adhesive. It gave me a headache too, but that was after hanging 10 of these (120 linear feet). I'd still do it again, but good to know if you're sensitive. Finally, the look you get is worth any trouble. Everyone just loves it, and I went back today and bought 4 more.

The former owner of my house left some nail holes in the wall to repair and I couldn't exactly match the paint color - even with computer matching. This is a home office / computer room, so I decided to give it a little character with a wall mural. The old factory picture was perfect for this. It matched the mood of the room and gives me a great backdrop for my computers. The wallboard in the room is slightly textured, and the paint looks like it has an eggshell finish. I was concerned about the mural sticking to the wall because of this. I was able to handle the mural by myself -- and even made it turn the corner to fit in the space I had. I failed to rub it all down the next day as prescribed, however, so I've had two occasions so far where a corner has started to peel away from the wall at the top. I was able to easily reattach each corner using a soft window washing attachment on a pole (this wall is hard to get to with the computers in the way), and that seems to have fixed it. If you install it carefully following the directions, it's not too hard to position. It takes a few tries to get each panel in just the right spot to overlap the previous panel (yes, they slightly overlap) and sometimes it doesn't come out exactly right. But for a picture this size, it still looks good. The worst thing you can do is get part of the mural sticking to itself, sticky side to sticky side. Separating the pieces tends to stretch the vinyl and distort the picture. I had this happen once, but the picture at this location was dark so it's not noticeable. If you start with only 6 inches or so at the top exposed and gradually peel the backing away as you attach the mural, you can avoid any problems. Align each new piece with just the top attached to the wall. If you have to reposition it later with more of the backing removed, you will probably need another person to help handle the panel and keep it from folding back on itself. The quality and detail of the picture are amazing. It looks great on the wall and gets a lot of positive comments.

So I wanted a cherry blossom/pink theme for my office - we moved our kid to a bigger room and I wanted a room within the house that really felt pretty and like me. I wanted something pretty easy to install - so I went with an adhesive wall mural. I installed this all by myself with a step stool and a few tools to help me smooth things out. It comes in 6 strip pieces. One thing I can say is ensure you measure before ordering to make sure it fits your wall. This one was just a little bigger than my wall size so it was perfect. I also got a tool kit (on amazon) that was made for installing wallpaper and it helped so much. Try to find a tool kit that has a little roller wand for smoothing out bubbles and a little plastic card looking tool - the kit I purchased separately had two of them - one nice hard plastic one and one with a bit of felt on the side which was really nice for smoothing it out. I also suggest using a small exacto knife to cut off any excess if the mural pieces are bigger than your wall - (the kit I purchased had one and it worked amazingly). It really is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for at a decent price. definitely buy yourself a tool kit for installing it (amazon has them for like 5 to 8 bucks) to help make the install a breeze.
