I’m really excited to install these wall plate spacers! Our current outlets sit slightly recessed into the wall, and this looks like the perfect solution to help bring them flush with the surface. The spacers seem to be made of good quality material, especially for the price, and the pack includes a generous amount. Everything feels sturdy and well-made. I've had to use thr band saw to trim down pieces to fit but other than that they are good

These metal spacers worked perfectly for leveling and stabilizing a couple of outlets that had sunk too far into some basement walls. They feel sturdy, easy to paint if needed, and installation was straightforward—just make sure to cut the power first! Now the outlets sit flush with the wall and don’t wiggle when plugging things in. Definitely a handy little fix to have around.

I just love these little guys. If you’ve got an outlet where the drywall cutout is too big and the device is sloppy, this is by far the quickest and easiest way to clean it up. They level the outlet and make everything look more professional in no time. One thing to note—they do require a bit of drywall within the clip area to grab properly. But overall, these are a fast and effective solution to a frustrating problem.

Shims out outlets so it is easier to install the covers. The work well, you can install them afterwards and they are sturdy. You can install them by releasing tension on the outlet assembly, basically you back off the screws, and when you have enough room to install these you insert the notched top in first and swing the bottom into place for the bottom. I would recommend doing this while the outlet is not live/hot though as it could lead to a shocking experience if you touch the black wire side known as the hot side. Once in place you can tighten up the outlet and reinstall the outer cover.

This is a useful tool, and does fit for some installs. What I like about it is that is very easy to install. Much easier than other board spacer methods (those accordion spacers or the big black rectangles). However, I wish it was larger. You can see in the images that it only increases the drywall attach area by a little bit. More so on the sides, but still not a huge amount. Still, I've found several outlets where this worked really well, and then I didn't have to mess with the other spacer products.

Make sure this is what you need before you get it. It does the job - it is a reasonably heavy steel and the right size for a standard 1 gang box. Not sure on using multiples in a bigger box.
