The media could not be loaded. Not sturdy. Had to reorder due to inability to assemble. 2nd one also difficult to assemble. Had a physical therapist put it together and he had problems putting it together too. A piece gets stuck down in the shaft of the cane. I never got it out. The therapist also had the same issue with the 2nd one I got but was he able to get it out after many tries. Once together it wasn't stable enough for my husband to use after his stroke. I had to buy him another one from elsewhere on the way home from rehab. The only thing I like about it is the flashlight.

Several good things here: Price is fair, its adjustable to over 41" high several inches taller than most..great if your tall. The cane is lightweight but strong. It stands upright on its own, and can be folded in half to easily take in a car. Lastly, it has a flashlight that includes batteries, and 3 Xtra foam pads for the handle. Its a good value and a smartly thought of cane..

I bought this specifically since it had a flash light, but it is far too wobbly to rely on.

Pluses: this cane easily folds up and is very easy to transport. The wide base gives a bit of extra stability - it's not quite as stable as the heavier quad canes you can get at Walgreens, but it's a close second. Cane comes with a travel bag that can easily be slung over the back of a wheelchair. Negatives: the cane arrives with the base unassembled, and assembling it was pretty tricky - especially if, like me, your hand strength isn't great. I had to get a neighbor to help me put it together, and even once he did get it together, it was a little wobbly. I would highly recommend that the manufacturer/seller ship this with an assembled base - this would also mean that the manufacturer would not need to include the two small metal tools that come in the box.
