  • Cheap but it will probably keep your computer off the floor
Size: 63 inch Color: Carbon Balck
The price was pretty cheap, so I thought, until I held the cheap fiberboard and plastic parts in my hands. Then it appeared to be priced correctly. The legs, thank God, are metal. Since I am using it as a writing desk, with just a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse on the desk top, I think it will serve it's purpose. However, this is certainly not a piece of furniture that one would pass down to their offspring. With that said, the height and length was critical for me, and I think it will be OK. Some tips! Tip 1: Go to a good used furniture store and buy a read desk, made from real wood. Or spend a lot more to get a real solid gaming desk. Tip 2: If you insist on this desk, form a committee of like minded people to study the one single puzzle page included. Rumor is they actually are some type of assembly instructions. Even if you have 20/20 vision, you will need magnifying glasses and perhaps strong bourbon to comprehend the pictures. That's all there is, pictures. You really must study them carefully. Tip 3: Notice the second picture I uploaded with the two parts circled in red. Toss these out. I have not the slightest idea what they are. They are not mentioned nor do they appear on the puzzle sheet. My best guess is that they are shipping material. Sadly, they appear as strong or stronger than most of the actual real desk parts, but just toss them. Tip 4: Do not use a hammer or real tools on this desk! The thin coating over the cheap fiberboard will chip off at the slightest wave of a real screw driver. This is especially true when you are trying to cram the two desktop sides together. No hammers! Tip 5: I have an extra leg foot. Maybe I forgot to add the fifth leg, idk. Some of the screws and bolts are extra too. Maybe they go with the fifth leg? Tip 6: When assembling the metal legs and support, you will need at least one semi-friend to assist you. Don't choose anyone you really like as when that metal support slips and takes the skin of his/her shin, they will never speak to you again. I hope that these tips assist you. Overall, the final product is sturdy enough and the correct height for my writing. Have fun. Oh, don't forget the bandages! Howard ... show more

  • Inaccurate product photos
Size: 63 inch Color: Carbon Balck
Some of the product photos in the listing are not accurate, so I can't give 5 stars. I did not get a cable management tray for the bottom of the desk as shown in the photos. Instead, there is some kind of net bag that attaches to the underside of the desk for "cable management," and it's pretty useless. Otherwise, the desk is as pictured. It's the same dimensions as stated in the listing, and most importantly has the 3-step height adjustment, which is what I cared about most. I have short legs, and the lowest height (27.5") is perfect for me. This is one of the few desks I found that was low enough for me. It is pretty sturdy and there were no problems assembling it. Definitely a good purchase for the money! ... show more

  • Great sturdy wide comfortable desk for multiple uses, not just gaming.
Ok, yes, I'm in love with this desk lol. I'm not a gamer (that was a longggggg time ago). But I needed a spacious desk to work from home full time. I had a previous L-shaped desk but was not wide enough. I'm a developer, software architect, and designer and I spend long hours at the desk so I needed something with leg room and comfortable enough to be productive. I bought the 63",which is also longer in depth then the other sizes. Just perfect. Spacious enough for my laptop, echo show, I-pad, cell phone stand, headset, mouse, keyboard, laptop docking station, & two 27-inch monitors that connect to a dual monitor mount with space still ft over. Note: I had to remove the cable rack underneath the desk for the mount. My 14 year old daughter loves it and want a setup similar for gaming. I couldn't have asked for anything more, except maybe for it to have a rising desk feature, but unnecessary for me. The Setup/Assembly: I'm pretty good and putting this together, but the instructions are not super great but is easy to follow. You just have to pay attention to the images specifically to know the parts. There are no written words to describe how to put it together. Basically there are 9 steps (diagram) to follow. I used the tool that came with it and a drill with a magnetic screwdriver bit for screwing (worked wonders, especially for the small screws). Most challenging part is keeping the bar that expands and connects the desk lined up 16 holes on the bottom. Not difficult though. The desk is strong, very strong. You wouldn't initially think so, but it is. The other features are nice like the cup holder, large mouse pad (loving that), and the controller rack with 2 USB ports (I'm not using that since I do not need it. Gave it to my daughter). Overall, great desk and worth it. I will probably buy my daughter one. ... show more

  • Overrated - Screw Holes Improperly Aligned
I tried three times to assemble this desk. No matter what I did, the pilot holes wouldn't properly aligned. I read the instructions and watched the video. I did it perfectly. But there is a gap in the middle of the desk. I am not very handy so I didn't want to drill new pilot holes so I just did it with the gap which is covered by the mouse pad. It's sturdy, but it's unnecessarily difficult to assemble and if I could have returned it without the huge hassle of trying to repackage all the small parts and then shlepping the big, heavy box back to UPS, I would have. I'll never buy another desk that requires you to connect two pieces to fix the top. ... show more

  • Good desk with one default
So this desk just came in and my brother and I finished setting it up. Desk itself is very nice and it was simple to set up. They included several extra screws which is nice. Here is the only two downsides. The first one is subjective, the gaming mat that covers the desk does not cover the full desk. To me its not a big deal because I get to see the carbon fiber. The second one is the reason this desk did not get 5 stars. When attaching the legs to the desk. The center metal support did not have the correct holes drilled into it. Yeah tge desk is still sturdy but its good to point out that it takes about 8 screws and I could not put them in because if I did then the legs would not align and I think we need the legs more lol. But overall with all the extra things like the control holder/charger the CUP HOLDER and headphone rack. Its awesome and its my first gaming desk. ... show more
