I’m a professional PPF installer, so installing vinyl comes very natural to me.. If the vinyl is install right. It looks amazing. I want to see the longevity of it as time goes. But the quality is good!

The vinyl itself seemed good in the roll but as soon as you unroll it HUNDREDS of little tiny creases form which you can’t get out. Furthermore, it’s a pain to try to put on as it keeps rolling into itself due to how it is packaged. Also, it is not that transparent, it’s more of a shade of purple than green. As well, when the headlights are on you can visible see there’s a film there clear as day, making your headlights look even dirtier like they are fogged over. I do not recommend you buy this, just get it professionally done or find a thinner film. ... show more

I bought 2 rolls of these, one back on July 28th & the other on August 17th - one roll was perfect, no issues at all except our own inexperience & the difficulty of appying it to the 23 Sportage headlights. Needless to say we ran out before we completed our project... I've had multiple communications with Vvid regarding the second roll we bought, bottom line, Amazon got tired of how long it was taking I'm guessing, because I didn't ask for a refund, but they gave me one anyway... found this very odd. Our second roll came to us perfect in the sense that it had no wrinkles while rolled up. Once it was unrolled it developed what I call micro wrinkles that I believed was the outside protective layer - So I went ahead and covered my remaining boomarang daytime running light. After installation I removed the thin protective layer & found the micro wrinkles remained. Was so bummed - I tried heating and stretching the wrinkles out, but they would not come out. No matter what. The company is polite, but slow takes quite a while to get responses... It seems there are two generations of this product, 1 I assume the newest seems thicker & not prone to these micro wrinkles - I've been I think a whole week now & haven't gotten to the bottom of the whole thing - Since the compay is so slow & they charge 17.99 to ship 1 roll i'm forced to take a change that I'll get an updated product from amazon again. It's awful I can't buy directly from Vvid in hopes of getting a decent roll & that I need to buy from Amazon & take a chance... Vivid wants the same price for shipping as they want for the roll. I so don't get it. They are really nice to deal with if you don't mind taking forever. ... show more

This is sad but because it’s rolled up so tight when you unroll it the laminate that I guess causes the holographic effect instantly wrinkles. It doesn’t take heat well. So you try and correct these wrinkles and the laminate destroys itself. This stuff is complete garbage. It comes to you setup to fail. I would go with dragon laminates if you want this effect ... show more

Visible creasing in the film which is very apparent due to the rainbow effect, disappointed in the quality of film received from vvivid. i have had prior success with their other products but this one is a miss.

I have no clue why people are writing their reviews and then showing the bio hex version with the hexagons in the tint. THIS IS NOT the bio hex version. Waiting for the glue lines to disappear so it can look clearer. My headlights were a challenge but this tint was up for it. Sadly this was the second one I had to get and for some reason it was already cut up into two separate pieces on the roll. The first one I had issues with and with great customer service was able to get it replaced. The first one was one huge piece I was able to cut to size to fit my headlights. With the second roll since it was already cut, I had to stretch more then I would have liked. But so far pretty happy with my first attempt at wrapping my headlights. ***** Update ****** Sadly this tint didn’t last long. It bubbled up and started to separate from the headlight. The worse part is, it left a really bad residue that was really hard to remove. I installed my second roll after I cleaned and cleared my headlights with 2K clear coat and it almost ruined that whole job. Not sure why it happened. I did love the effect, but now I’m afraid of giving it a 3rd shot. ... show more
