I don't know why people say vvivid wraps are bad and doesn't stick. What people don't realize there are 2 types of vinyl adhesives. One is pressure activated like 3m etc. Another is heat activated. Vvivid has heat activated adhesives. After you position it, it must be heated to at least a few hundred degrees. This vinyl is awesome and very easy to work with. Also lasts many years. The air release backing on this vinyl makes it nearly impossible to have any bubbles, and it's nice that it's repostionable during install. It took me 3 hours from start to finish to wrap my chrome grill trim, and the trim above the headlights. I trimmed it by hand with a razor blade. A heat gun is a must. I would never buy this brand again. Stained my paint in 3 spots and i can't get it off on places that were not even getting wrapped. I just set it there for a minute or two while i was trimming it. It was also thick and hard to work with. It was hard to pull off the panel, and that's without putting any pressure on it yet, to try and get it straight. ... show more

I am very disappointed with this product. The last three feet were unusable because horrible wrinkles caused by the glue. I got 75% complete with my roof before I realized the product was defective. I was hoping the wrinkles would come out with heat but they didn’t.

Whoever is watching CK Wraps videos on Youtube, i swear to god this guy is a total bs-artist. Vivid vinyl is WAY hard to work on for beginners, even for pro’s !!! And it ALWAYS comes half the length I order, it has cracks and scratches in it! I purchased avery vinyl for my car also to wrap it as a whole, but now I will make avery on the whole vehicle. Vivid is 100% just a chinese wrap with canadian stickers on it! I will never ever ever purchase from them again. The other installing equipment were totally ok! Compared to 3M 1080, I'm not a fan of this material. Adhesion isn't as good and shrinking from heat in the sun is an issue. If stretched in excess when applied, it may shrink back from sitting in sun and showing original color of the surface. It's also a thicker material and harder to manipulate around tight edges, also wrinkles are more difficult. One of my bigger rolls came with a protective film on the squigee surface to take off after application to avoid scuffing.. which can be noticeable. ... show more

the desciption says 1 foot by 5 feet but we recieved it and it was only 1 foot by 3.8 feet. nothing wrong with the material just dissapointed we didnt get the right ammount that it was posted for.
