I was really unhappy with the way my old dresser was looking. Since it was sound and only used in a guestroom to hold sheets I couldn't really justify throwing it out for new. I wanted to glam up the room and after reading tons of reviews I thought I'd give this stuff a try. You definitely need to take your time. I actually started from the bottom of each drawer and used a washcloth to smooth it out. It was like a millimeter at a time. I didn't try to stick any on and then rub it, I used the washcloth itself to apply little bits at a time going from one side to the next. I went real slow. Painfully slow. There were still times if I went to fast that I would get a bubble or wrinkles but I was able to pull it back and go over that spot with no problem. I thought for sure the crease that was created when I pulled it back was going to show but it didn't. The foil itself is really thin so I was afraid it might tear but it didn't. It's really strong and as far as I could tell there was absolutely no stretch. With it being so thin it shows any imperfection on your surface. If you zoom in on the photo you can see it looks dimpled. I don't notice it when I'm not up close so it doesn't bother me. I used a different brand on the top that is thicker. It does not contour to the dresser like the other did so that was disappointing but still good enough for my purposes. I recommend this product and I love the outcome of my project. The main thing to remember is patience.

This vinyl is the worst I have ever used. The back will come off on a light grip mat if that says something, it’s not thick enough and easily tears, it scratches really easy even though it says scratch resistant, and worse of all….it isn’t reliable. Everything they advertise about this product is false

Ok guys, I read all the reviews on this product before buying it. Let me tell ya, the reviews were mostly negative but I’m a rebel so I bought it anyway. So glad I did! First of all, this stuff is not like regular vinyl. It’s thinner and more of a challenge to work with. Yes, I too got those cursed air bubbles when I unrolled it but I just used the credit card tool (not sure what the fancy name is) and smoothed out all the bubbles. After the bubbles were gone, my machine cut through the vinyl like budda. No problems applying the transfer tape or weeding. Oh and the vinyl adhered just fine to my project. This vinyl just needs a little TLC.

This stuff is really cool it comes out beautiful and I'm sure it will be great for cutting machines but I use it for hand cutting and the only problem is that the adhesive backing could be much stronger I have to either cover it with clear vinyl or put glue on the back to make it stay in place but overall I would probably buy again

This is the only chrome (or yellow gold for that matter) I use. If you get the line bubbles across the vinyl when you unroll it, get a squeegee with felt on the edge (so you don't scratch it) and work the bubbles towards the edge of the roll. This takes time because you have to work them towards the shorter edge of the roll (not sure if I explained that correctly). But after you do this it's perfect! The vinyl just doesn't like to be rolled too tightly, so big radius rolls work best. It's not good for wrapping something, but works great for decals!

I recently purchased the VViViD Chrome Silver Gloss DECO65 Permanent Adhesive Craft Vinyl for my crafting business, and while it served its purpose for small projects, I found the material to be thinner than expected. On the positive side, the chrome silver color is quite striking and adds a nice touch of metallic flair to my crafts. The adhesive backing also adhered well to various surfaces, ensuring that my designs stayed in place once applied. However, the thinness of the vinyl was a bit disappointing. It felt flimsier than other vinyl rolls I've used in the past, which made it somewhat challenging to work with, especially when cutting intricate designs. I had to handle it with extra care to prevent tearing or curling, which added extra time and effort to my crafting process.
