Ok guys, I read all the reviews on this product before buying it. Let me tell ya, the reviews were mostly negative but I’m a rebel so I bought it anyway. So glad I did! First of all, this stuff is not like regular vinyl. It’s thinner and more of a challenge to work with. Yes, I too got those cursed air bubbles when I unrolled it but I just used the credit card tool (not sure what the fancy name is) and smoothed out all the bubbles. After the bubbles were gone, my machine cut through the vinyl like budda. No problems applying the transfer tape or weeding. Oh and the vinyl adhered just fine to my project. This vinyl just needs a little TLC. ... show more

So many things wrong with this product!!!!! First, the package (and roll inside) arrived flat which allowed air bubbles to get in between the "vinyl" and backing. After attempting to get the bubbles out I put it on my mat only to find out that it isn't 12" like it states, it's slightly shy about .25- .5" short. Whatever, I adjusted my design then go to cut the material and set the machine to do a kiss cut. This material is so thin and cheap that the machine cuts right through both the material and the backing but only on certain areas. The material (only, not the backing) lifts off the mat as it's being cut and rips in several places. I cancel the cut and get the mat out and try to remove it and it's so stuck to the mat that I can not get it off, the paper tears apart. I have two ruined mats, clumps of silver vinyl and no design. Avoid this at costs!!!! ... show more

dont buy this! the backing completely stuck to the mat when you go to take it off, no matter how gentle you are.. also, if you try to use a card or some thing to smooth out the bubbles, you’ll end up, pulling up the pieces in the middle of your design, which then screws up your whole project because the vinyl isn’t even sticky at all so you can’t stick it back into that spot that it just came up from. I bought this to use on a children’s play kitchen I was making. I was gonna use it to make the appliances to look like they were stainless steel but it was way too shiny. Which isn’t a bad thing. I was very surprised it was also very thick and the adhesive was extreme. I wasn’t expecting such good quality to be honest because I’ve bought so many different brands and none of them came close to being useable in any manner. So if you’re looking for a highly adhesive mirrored finish for any project. This is the only one I would recommend!! ... show more

It cut and weeded well, but it's not as forgiving as true vinyl... it's prone to tear pretty easily during application, so be advised that you need to take care during this process. ... show more

This stuff has an amazing shine to it. I use it for mirror craft art and mirror furniture. It has good adhesive and not hard to split up if the sides get folded on each other.     • Terrible weak packaging for delivery

They dont even cut and roll it correctly. I ordered 2 rolls. It came in a bubble mailer, but they didnt even have a center in the roll from preventing it from being crushed. It came smashed and when i loaded it to my mat, due to it being folded due to being smashed, there was massive air pockets through out the rolls. WASTE OF MY MONEY! I cant return it because every time I tried to cut a 12x12 to test it would just fold up and wrinkle. For the ones I did save, when it came to cut on my Cricut, I had to put it on Paper+, and it still screwed up lines. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This silver vinyl is pure garbage. I found a better company for my needs with this. Stay away from this product! ... show more
