I had gotten about 12 antique liquor decanters all of which needed their corks replaced. I was a bit hesitant to buy this as it is a lot more than I thought I needed. But I am so very glad I did! It is very easy to cut the amount I needed for each decanter, they were very easy to attach and even easy to remove if I messed it up - which is how I could rate that area! After I used what I needed for my original reason for purchasing it, I tried what they said - attached it to the backside of a cupboard door (I put a few layers to accommodate the pushpins I'm using. That works like a charm! Now we can leave messages to one another, or reminders without cluttering up the fridge. Which leaves more room for cute magnets!!!

I bought this cork to use as a backing for some coasters I was making as gifts. I didn’t expect it to be so nice! Especially not for the price! The adhesive is STRONG and flexible! I don’t know if it’s intended to, but it has even held up to washing “dishes” in the sink a few times!! (I don’t leave it to soak). The cork is smooth with fine particles making up the very soft & flexible roll! It surprised me considering it is thicker than expected too!! Everything about this product is even better than I anticipated!! I would definitely buy it again!

Had purchased two different types of tile to redo a table, later realized that one type was 9mm thick and the other was 7mm thick. Well, that's not going to do. Needed something 2mm thick to placed between the table base and the tile, found this roll of adhesive cork and ... it worked beautifully! Adhered well to the tile (I ended up gluing the cork to the tile to be safe, but it likely would have still worked fine without the glue) and is now ready to go onto the table tomorrow. Put the two types of tile side-by-side and ... a perfect fit!

I use this and kids craft glue to make texture on bases for my miniatures. Looks like broken concrete for 1" tall miniatures of people, or can be layered into more complex shapes. This is thinner than I thought it would be, but that isn't a problem on my end. Let's see, comes in roll where the clear tape that is binding it will ruin some of the cork, as the clear tape is too adhesive and won't let go of the cork. Other reviewers said the same, so I wasn't expecting otherwise. Got a picture. that's a Games Workshop Tau Stormsurge model kit, and the little "foot clamp" is mounted in a hill made of this cork. There's some metal pins in there too (paperclips).

The cork itself looks good but as other reviewers have mentioned and I choose to ignore because I thought it couldn’t be that bad: there is basically no adhesive, the cork will only remain in place for a couple of seconds and then it peels off. My guess is that maybe this product was made years and years ago and now it is just too old to work the way it’s supposed to. Do not risk it and get another brand.
