Description
Most VTNE study guides are still built on a nine-domain content outline. The examination has ten. The AAVSB content outline divides the VTNE into ten domains and fixes how many of the 150 scored questions come from each. Animal Care and Nursing is worth 30. Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Surgical Nursing, and Anesthesia are worth 20 each. Communication and Veterinary Professional Support Services is worth 7 — and it is the domain candidates most often score badly on, usually because they did not know it was scored at all. This guide is weighted to that outline from the first page to the last. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT Chapters are ordered by item count, heaviest first. If you run out of study time, you run out of time having covered the questions that mattered most. A 50-question diagnostic exam comes before the content, not after it. You score it by domain, weight your losses by how many real questions each one costs, and build a Weakness Map that tells you where your next three weekends go. Every practice question includes a full rationale explaining not only why the correct answer is correct, but why each wrong answer is tempting and what mistake it was written to catch. Answer keys are balanced across A, B, C, and D. You cannot pass this book by guessing one letter. INSIDE - All ten domains, each with high-yield content, must-know reference tables, five common exam traps, and a timed drill - A dedicated Math Lab: dosing, percent solutions, dilutions, constant rate infusions, fluid rates, and drip sets, with 32 worked examples - Two full-length practice exams of 150 questions each, weighted to match the real distribution - 6-week and 14-day study plans, plus a 7-day emergency version - Top 100 drugs, normal values, and a one-page constants sheet for the final week - Test-day strategy with pacing checkpoints for all 170 questions - An 8-week comeback plan if you did not pass, built around the actual 31-day retake rule 600+ practice questions and calculation problems. 334 pages.
