The hair can be dyed. Came in a 1b not a natural black. I used a 20 developer on these tracks and it turned out nicely. I will go from track to about 1 3/4 - 2 1/4 inches down with a darker brown. The clips are tiny which I liked very much, as I wear clip-ins all the time & the durability of the clips can grip my 3c hair in areas that I didn't braid down... so makes for a great blend job. I wide tooth comb these out to get them kinky/blown out as possible and even after bleaching they still feel soft. I do a hot soak conditioner treatment in a large cup for 20 mins then prop them up under the hair dyer when I am wanting to wear them quicker than doing a drip dry over night... to retain the pattern...comes out good. I would definitely buy 2 or 3 packs if you want Diana Ross volume. Would be nice to have 6, 2-clips for the side instead of the 4 3 & 4-clips for the back ...instead 3, 3&4 clips for the back and 6, 2-clips for the sides so our styles can be more versatile. **Yes, we can buy our own clips... sew them in and do what we want. Single track. Not double or are they thick so I had to get past that over a night of fussing. I love this ponytail!! I have gotten so many compliments as well. When I received it i just soaked it in ACV for about 30 mins and proceeded to shampoo and put leave in conditioner on it. The hair is a mixture of human and synthetic hair but responds well to water and natural hair products. I think gel works the best though. Little shedding. I do not like the top comb because of the way it sits. But with Bobby pins and a little finessing it worked out. I have a 14 in and it's almost to my bra strap. The media could not be loaded. The hair was perfect, from the start. Soft, bouncy, stretch curls that have a nice spring back/snap back! The hair color Complimented my natural hair color. Easy to install. Took about 45min I’m sure as I use them more, the installation time will shorten. I applied some hair fresher spray to the curls to give them a fresh look. Very pleased overall. The hair is really pretty, and i got the afro kinky 16in in 1b# hair color. Feels like human hair, soft enough and detangles well. The clips are easy to use, doesn't shed too much. However, it doesn't really resemble 4 type hair which I though I was getting; so it was hard for me to blend it in with my own hair. It's more like 3 type hair. I’d like to get the positives out of the way first because there’s not many. The item arrived pretty quickly - got here in one day. The hair also perfectly matched my 4b curl pattern. (I got the kinky curl) Let’s get into the negatives. I ordered the 20 inch hair clip ins. I know very well shrinkage is a thing but the item still looked very short when I took it out of the packaging. I decided to measure it - the hair was no longer than 14 inches in the longest piece of hair I could find. Other pieces varied from 10-12 inches. Not only was it shorter than what I paid for - it was also super thin on each clip in. Now I didn’t expect much for the price but these clip ins would only work with you wanted to use it as some bangs. I tried it out in my hair to see what it would look like and you guessed it - it was trash. I can only describe it as looking heat damaged and broken. If that’s the look you’re aiming for - this is the hair for you. When I attempted to report it to customer service and hopefully get the hair I wanted - they told me that wouldn’t be possible because the inventory was so inconsistent and was always changing. I doubt they even sell 20 inches to begin with but it was worth the try. Anyway, make sure you read the reviews and save some money. I attached some pictures of the hair while in my hair. My hair is pretty thick, I added gel to help blend it. You can see how little the hair is at the ends - mind you that’s several tracks combined. Edit: Also while repackaging the hair to return it (mind you they have no problem with receiving a product that has already been used so if you’re ordering from them be conscious of the fact that you might be buying something that was pre-worn) I noticed that I only receive 5 wefts instead of 7. ... show more
