Kitties can be sneaky and they are definitely the best yoga critters for they can stretch and move in ways you thought only Gumby can do. Well these harnesses are beyond amazing for these yogi kitties. They do not choke them, fits well (even the 'fluffy' kitty) and as long as you put the hook on both loops you are good. Now, kitties will be wiggly when adjusting this harness so get ready. Other thing to note here .. if it is one thing you CANNOT do is put this harness on and just take the kitty outside or wherever. That is just a plan for disaster. With our feline friends get this harness a few weeks ahead of your planned usage and then put the harness on every day starting out with 5 minutes. Next day, 5 minutes the following day 7 minutes... Your feline friend has to get used to this harness and not be afraid of it or think it is a torture device when the kitty can have the harness on for at least 30min (hour would be best though) and allowed to be itself, meaning lying around, walking around, jumping on the couch, eating treats with not wanting to back out of it...then it will be good to go on Kitty Harness Adventures. What to expect when putting it on before kitty gets used to it . Kitty will hiss, Kitty will do the back up shuffle Kitty may get one leg out and do a hop... backwards Kitty may get head stuck..while going backwards Kitty will look at you with distain Kitty may or may not stand...then fall over and lay there not moving. Easy to put on my dog which is a Schipperke. I've had this brand of harness before but gave that one to my son for his Frenchie. Very trust worthy harness. Dog doesn't slip out and is very durable. Dogs seem comfortable in them too. For sizing I measured his neck at12 and chest 17. He weights 18. Got Medium. It fits perfect but in the back of my mind I wonder how a large would fit. I bought this exact harness over 2 years ago and it’s worked out great for our 20lb terrier mix. Over time, it loosened in the arm area to the point where I felt she might slip out. Love the design of extra security in having the Velcro, then the plastic snap belt piece, and finally a double D-ring that I attach a single carabiner to clip the leash onto. I wash it in the washer every couple months and air dry so that might lead to the loosening; that or our dog is a puller that wants to start fights with every dog that passes. I bought a new one of the same and it fits great on our dog with some odd dimensions. Due to fit, security, and what I perceive as comfort, I’ll keep buying this despite any loosening over years. ... show more

I have a small dog, most harnesses were either too bulky or too strappy and cut into her body. Others were complicated to get into. And easy ones could come inadvertantly. This is very easy to get into but has Velcro, a buckle and metal loops, so three ways of closing that are simple, straightforward, and comfortable. The best! ... show more

The sizing is pretty off. I measured my dogs and the sizing chart said that larges would fit them both. However they were way too small. The velcro wouldn't even close on my black and white 30 lb Boston terrier. The large fit the 20 lb frenchie but barely and it was too tight for him to comfortably walk around. I sized up to XLs for both of them and they work fine. They are both wearing xls in the photos. Other than that, the harnesses seem to be pretty good quality. I would recommend looking at reviews for similar dog breeds to yours and going off of that. I can't yet speak on the durability because we just got them but so far they have held up (after 3 walks). There's a photo of my dogs next to a standard tennis ball for size reference. Hope this helps. ... show more

Voyager is hands down my favorite brand of harnesses. I have tried many different styles and brands over the years and always come back to Voyager. They are true to size, quality material and always a great fit. Seams are nicely sewn. They don’t fall apart after a few uses. Easy to wash. I just throw in the washer and then let air dry. When we travel with our pets I prefer to keep them in a harness bc it's virtually impossible to wiggle out of. They all wear their distinctive colors and have been safely traveling with us for years. The harnesses are washable and have kept their coloring though out. The reflective shoulders have not lost their glow and the dogs think they are being Knighted by their reaction when I bring these out. The only thing I wish is that the neckline was just a tad lower bc when my chihuahua's decide they just have to sniff a particular tree and I think they are at the end of their leash - I hear hacking bc the neckline pressed (bc they are pulling) on their lower throat. If your dog has a short neck - I'd look for a different harness. My dogs have long sleek necks and only once in a blue moon will they pull til they hack. Otherwise, you can lift your dog up by the harness without hurting them or causing minimal issues at Welcome centers where there are TONS of dogs with their families just waiting to all say hi to one another. The velcro and snap closures are perfect and provide a level of two safety features to keep the harness on. LOVE them and so will you. ... show more

I only buy voyager harnesses for my pups. They are soft and velcro shut with an added click shut buckle for extra safety that is easy on and off. I've used this brand for years. They wash great and allow my pups to easily move with no hard buckles or metal digging into them. Love all the color options too! I change their colors for the season. I wish they hand matching soft collars. ... show more
