The harness fits well and is true to size. My dog enjoys wearing it and it does not seem to bother her. It is made of soft material. I have a larger dog who is a puppy and the two dogs like to wrestle. The material of the dog harness has ripped in two different places by the dogs playing. This is the second time I’ve purchased one of these and I really like them a lot for my poodle. She’s recently lost a lot of weight (she’s 15 but doesn’t know it!) and the size med was falling off. I bought her a sm & she weighs 9lbs. The chart is accurate. I ordered the small & it got here overnight! Tried it on right away after letting it out a little and it was perfect. It looks snug in the picture but it isn’t. It’s not rubbing or pulling anywhere & she moves well. I can get my fingers underneath as well. The mesh on these is nice in the summer too. She doesn’t walk long distances but it’s helpful. I also really love how simple this harness is to use. She’s a feisty little girl sometimes and getting the job done quickly makes everyone happy! Put her legs in, snap it & we’re good to go, yay!! If everything was this easy! She also can’t wriggle out of this one like she has with others. ... show more

The quality is first rate. The design is exceptional. I've had these before and they were not as sturdy. The look is darling. My little brown chihuahua has the light blue and it looks very nice with her color. It's very, very easy to put on. She knows to put her little paws in and buckle up for her big adventure. I have been searching for THE harness for my mini dachshund, and I believe this is IT. He is a longer-bodied puppy, so most harnesses don't work well with him. I found a bunch of dachshunds at the dog park also using this specific harness, and they fare well with it. My puppy's neck is 12 inches in circumference, and his chest is about 13 inches. The size XS harness fits perfectly. It is secure, and he has yet to find his way out of it. Whether he is running at the park or going on walks, he is doing fine with it.
