5’3” and 140 lbs. bought in medium and didn’t fit. So bought large and still barely fit. My butt was so squeezed it and there was a big gap between the pants and my waist. If you have any sort of butt these will not fit! Also it says stretch but there’s is absolutely no stretch at all. And because I ordered the first pair a week out from our trip and the large was delivered the day before I had to buy at the resort $$$$. I went with burton Gloria pant in a large and they fit perfect and even have a little stretch.

I am 4'11" and around 105lbs. I got a size XS. These pants are SUPER tight on my hips/butt/thighs but loose on the calves and pretty long on me. They're tolerable to wear, good quality, and do fit but the way they fit is kind of weird. If I had gotten a size up, they might have fit my hips/thighs/butt better but would have been way longer and way bigger around my calves. So I guess if you're short, you have to pick a compromise.

These pants fit me exactly like the picture in the ad, so I didn’t bother posting my own pictures! Yes, they are long, be ready for that. The stretch is really only in the backside and the thighs, knees down for me (5’7”) are baggy. I would describe them as low rise for ski pants (not compared to low rise jeans), it took a day to get used to, but they are snug enough I didn’t have any problems. Also, I took a picture of the inside of the waist, there is a fantast velcro tightened to cinch in the waist. Material is all soft enough to wear solo. It was -3 in Crested Butte and they were perfectly warm. I really appreciate the heel guard, my pants tend to get torn up at the bottom, I included a picture of that feature too. There are 5 pockets; two zipper in the front, two velco in the back with a 5th horizontal zipper pocket on top of a velcro pocket. (Hey Volcom, I would love a little calf pocket, I know that’s weird but sooooooo much easier to access on the lift.) Note that all the pockets are at least 5” deep, plenty of room. Overall, I love Volcom clothes because they are so well made, super reinforced seams, great snow pants!!

I havent ever tried volcom clothing but saw these at a lower price and took the risk. They are a nice heavy fabric. I purchased a large because some of these snowboard brands are more of juniors sizes. I am 5ft 5in 145 and a size 8 in pants. They are loose enough in the hip and butt areas that i could move around and wear several layers if needed. The waist was huge. Big gap in the back which could be quite drafty. It may be my body shape because my butt is bigger than my waist, but they fit me kinda funny.

As other have mentioned, the zippers for the leg vents are in an awkward spot. I'm 5'4", 140lbs, and ordered the medium. These were comfortable but way too long for my taste (couldn't wear them with regular boots) and they are a little too tight in the thigh.

I hate to say it (as I am an avid Volcom lover) but these pants just aren't it. Burton makes better sizes. I bought BOTH a L & XL as I was in between sizes. XL fit fine around the hips but WAY too long and I'm 5'7. I currently have a pair of volcom snowpants that i've been wearing for at LEAST 5 winters straight. I don't want to get rid of them but am being forced to, as they are now starting to fall apart (small rips, seams are about to go and waterproofing is all gone). Not ONLY did Volcom change their sizing (the pants I currently have are an L and they are LOOSE), but the style of the same pant has changed. Buyer be WARE that these are extremely FLARE at the boot and look ridiculous. Not worth the $100 (and I thought this was a steal too). Don't even bother purchasing, you'll surely be dissapointed.

Reaaaally wanted these to work... they come in great colors and I love the material/fit on legs. I agree with other reviewers that the waist is soo weird. I am 5’9”, 155 lbs and carry my extra weight in my love handles so I didn’t think this would be an issue. I ordered up one size (large) from my normal and it fit perfectly except for the crazy gapping in the waist. Even with the adjusters pulled all of the way, there was some gapping in the back and the adjusters just caused the sides to gap. Not practical for snow... I just ordered the medium and am hoping it will fit better. If you are a big booty girl, these straight up won’t work for you.

I really like the color and the flare of the pant. I tried adjusting the waist to fit tighter with the Velcro straps on the inside of the band, but it just bunched up at the sides. Was super loose. I’m 5’10”, 130 lbs and ordered a medium. The length is nice so I’m sad the pants didn’t fit up top.
