The Volcom stretch solver is the perfect-fitting Jean as a skateboarder of many years I've been really looking for this type of fit again and it was really hard going between different brands. I'm glad I found them on here they're great just to Lounge in do labor in skateboard or whatever. They stretch just perfectly without even noticing they are, the loops and buttons/zipper are high quality and the modern fit cut is probably the most comfortable/best looking compared to those like slim fit and others that also look great with sneakers or boots. I purchased two pairs of the blackout I will be purchasing them again. update: I have been wearing them out if most my jeans for months now an they are still great. I would advise to only wash with water and a drop of detergent and hang dry if getting the blackout. I used too much soap and had to rinse them twice an they kinda faded on me but the jeans are still dope. I will be purchasing more.

For me, the fit is very similar to Levi's 541 style. I have relatively large thighs and a lot of jeans are tight on my legs. I also have a little more glutes than a lot of men and these jeans fit that area nicely. Not sure how long they will last yet but they feel like they are pretty sturdy while still be comfortable out of the box. One thing that does bother me about these jeans is that the fly is a little short. It can be a little difficult to get things in/out when going to the bathroom. That zipper is not friendly to delicate skin.

As comparison, a PrAna Brion pant, 36x32 fits me perfectly. Solver 36x32 jeans were probably a size too large around the waist on me, and a good inch or two too long. Nice looking jeans, and I'd probably have exchanged them for a smaller (Volcom sizing) pair. However, they get just 2 stars because they have a stupid logo embroidered halfway down inside of the left leg on the back!! Whaaat? Refund process started...

This was not at all what I was expecting. I love Volcom and the Vorta style has been my go-to for the last few years. I own 6 pairs of Vorta. However, I felt it was time for something slightly less slim. I was hoping that Solver was the fit I was seeking. It wasn’t. Solver runs big and are way baggy to be called Modern Straight. Also odd that Volcom placed them next to the Vorta, as if they were not much different. Not at all. Volcom needs to fill the gap between Vorta and Solver with something else, because it’s a huge gap between the two styles.

I would have given these jeans a 5-star review, but there are a few things that kept me from doing so. First of all, the listing would tell you that there are several different shades/colors of blue, but when you get them the differences are so subtle that they can only be seen in bright light/daylight. Essentially, if you order a darker shade of blue, it doesn't matter what color you order they all come in looking the same. Second, the sizing is a little off. While I was flattered when a waist size 32 was big on me, I wasn't fooled. I wear Volcom pants and wear a 32 or 33 inch waist, but in this jean, I ended up having to go with a 31 inch waist and having the legs look a touch more fitted than I prefer. The 32" waist is considerably too big in the waist & hips area, but fits great everywhere else. Finally, these jeans have a very weird coin pocket. Unlike ALL other jeans, where the coin pocket is sewn onto the body of the jeans, this coin pocket is sewn onto the pocket, making it hang/look a little odd. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal.

I'm 6'2.5", 260 lbs with long legs and big thighs. I purchased 2 pairs of these jeans - both 40W x 34L. They are the best fitting jeans I've got in a long time. Just slim enough but not skinny plus they are slightly stretchable. The button is very strongly attached and reinforced. The bottoms are perfect width to wear over your shoe tongue like if you wear low top skate shoes or Rouches or something and also Look good tucked behind shoe tongue like if you wear J's or sImilar mid/hi tops. Similar to Levis 511 fit. I will definitely buy more colors!

Absolutely in love with these. I love the color on them because this black is the type that doesn't fade that quick. Which if you buy black jeans you know it's hard to come across. I feel like these are high-quality made having double belt loops, as well as a thick quality made embroidered leather tag logo on the back of the jeans. Not to mention their classic volcom searching on the back of the knee right by the seam of the pants. These pants fit to a tee absolutely amazing fit. Must I mention that this product has a secret pocket! Change pocket on one side hidden compartment on the other I was quite surprised.

I skate 7-days a week. These jeans have the perfect fit for skating but also they are sexy as heck and great for a night out. I love Volcom, everything I own from them from beanies to boxers Volcom always delivers. SKATEORDIE! I'm 195 5'11 larger build, I wear size 33 X 30 and it fits perfect as The Solver has a little elastic quality so they fit just right even if a bit small. Contrary to other reviews they fit just right for me.
