I scoured the internet for hours, literally, trying to find a reasonably priced set of large island bandages similar to the expensive ones my doctor gave me for the wound on my leg. I'm happy to say these were the most reasonably priced and the largest for my needs (I'm reviewing the 6x6 size). The ones my doctor gave me had a transparent film over the cushioned part - these have what feels almost like a cloth border that has just the right amount of adhesion when putting it on so as not to be irritating or sealing too tightly, and they come off without pain or irritating the skin. I also appreciated this brand because they CLEARLY show the actual size of the bandage (4x4 inches) and not just the overall size including the borders. I found it maddening when doing the searches that only the overall size including the border was usually listed, so a bandage listed as 4x4 was actually only as little as 2x2 inches. The gash on my leg had cuts in 3 different and it was tricky trying to find a size that would cover them all without the sticky part ending up on one of the wounds itself. These feel comfortable and breathable while giving the covered (cushioned) part of the bandage enough protection as to keep the wound securely covered and sealed. A winner in my case.

Great product. Pay attention to the dimensions of the inside (gauze) area compared to your wound size before you buy. You don't want the sticky part on your wound. The sticky part is very sticky and does not come off easily. If you're a hairy person, you may want to shave off the area first before applying otherwise removing this will not be fun. It's like removing a bandaid. Good luck.

Basically a good bandage at a decent price. Only problem: I could not open the package. It had a 'open here' tab that would not open. Could not even get the tab loose from the package to pull it. I had to open it with scissors. Bandage was OK.

Tried 4 bandages from box. None went more than 1 hour, starting from shaved, clean, alcohol sterilized, dry area before adhesive began peeling off by itself. By 4 hours max product fell off and was absolutely useless. Like tossing money in the garbage, which is where rest of item went.
