  • I can see! And my head isn't being pinched.
Color: Purple Monet Size: 1.50 Strength
I'm still new to reading glasses and have been pretty disappointed in the quality of them. THESE, however, are great. Light, not huge and overbearing on my face. They aren't so tight that I get a headache from them. And the clarity of the lenses is great. The other pairs I bought (even the pricier computer ones) all have a slight blur to them. I'm a graphic designer! I need to see! Tiny issues with them: the screws in the middle can slightly obscure my vision. It's really minor and I'll get used to it. The case that came with them is a super snug fit. I really have to push them in. I worry I'll damage the glasses doing it. We'll see! Worse comes to worst, I am sure I can find a slightly larger case for a new pair. Because I like the design and quality of these. Edit: much later, I have come back to order more. These have outlasted all my other readers and they are one of my favorite pairs. The issue with the screws in the nose piece? Non-issue. Got used to it. Still light and comfy, takes up v little space in my bag. I want a pair in every color. ... show more

  • Best reading glasses I've ever had
Color: Sky Blue Size: 1.50 Strength
I have bought 5 of these in the past year because they look good and are very comfortable. Lightweight and flexible, so they aren't easy to break. If you like to perch the reading glasses on the end of your nose, this is a great pair for that.

  • Great overall, BUT Screwy
Color: Crystal Size: 1.50 Strength
EDIT: I kept these glasses and I love them. They have become my favorite pair and I wear them all the time. I've had these about 5 months now. They're still in great shape, and very comfortable! My small band-aid adjustment has been well worth it. Tired of bold, statement reading glasses too heavy for my nose, I was looking for a lightweight pair of glasses that were virtually undetectable. I purchased the clear/crystal color. What I like-- Great lenses; clear as a bell, do not magnify my eyeballs. No more Thyroid Eye Disease look. Light as a feather. No red nose marks. Earpiece is comfortable and Impressive. Small notches in the sleeve over the earpiece keep these from ever falling off my head. I really love this part of the design. Smart! Virtually invisible. (More on that below) Reasonably durable for the lightweight design. I take mine on and off and up to my head all day long. So far, so good. What I don't like at all (so minus one star)-- The silver piece with screws that holds the nose piece in is too visible for my personal taste. Screws are necessary but these are very obvious, more pronounced than my other glasses. There are four of these screws in one piece of metal--two that connect the nose bridge and two that connect the nose pads. These super shiny silver screws give my face and the glasses a somewhat sci-fi effect I am NOT fond of. A friend told me they looked as if they were screwed into my face. I'm going to agree with her. There is too much blingy metal going on in the nose bridge area. They are necessary to hold the nose piece on, but this piece is overlay large and gleaming. I dare say it almost appears like metal piercings, which aren't my style. While still in my trial phase, I managed to conceal two of the outward-facing nose pad screws screws by using a tiny piece of flesh-colored band-aid, which has worked well. The band aid pieces have been holding on, I simply don't like that I have to do it to love these glasses. Before I thought of the band-aids, this screwy, sparkling nosepiece was a no-go for me. To conclude, there are many positives to these glasses but I am still on the fence about keeping mine. The shiny screws may not be an issue for some people. If so, the band-aids work, and I like everything else about them. ... show more

  • Perfect, just what the Dr. Ordered....
Color: Smoke Size: 1.50 Strength
Getting old, switched to toroid contacts for astigmatism, gave up on bifocal contacts and needed a pair of readers. All of the off-the-shelf local stuff (pharmacies etc) use a plastic that is a bit cloudy, cheap metal or hard plastic frames, no case. Nothing high quality. Local optometrist/ophthalmologist shops (Lens Crafters etc) do not carry non-prescription readers. Frustrating! I live in a rural area, so shopping local entails a minimum of 45 mins drive round trip. Turning (once again) to Amazon and the amazing selection offered, I was able to quickly scan reviews and ratings to find a pair of clear, light, compact readers- Visualites. What can I say about the Visualites product? Brilliant! perfect. light, crystal clear, flexible minimalist frame, compact carrying tube. Amazon does it again. Thanks Jeff B and crew. ... show more

  • Good quality. Compact case. Lightweight.
Color: Smoke Size: 1.50 Strength
These readers are optically quite good compared to the cheaper drugstore variety with little discernible distortion. I use them all day at work in front of a computer without a problem. They are light and small enough to see over for distances. And they're not bad looking. The main reason I keep buying them (when I lose or misplace a pair) is the case is small, compact and rugged enough to easily carry in your pocket. ... show more

  • Nice looking, but very fragile.
Color: Grey Matrix Size: 1.50 Strength
I like that the glasses are lightweight, I can barely feel them on my face. But they seem to be incredibly fragile, and I expect it won't be too long before I break them, one way or another. The plastic case they sent with them is useless, it's too tight of a fit to get the glasses into it, and I don't want to rub the lenses on the case putting them in and taking them out, that will end up messing up the surface of the lenses. The glasses do look good, though, and I like them. But as I said, they are very fragile. To add to my previous review...I've had several pairs now. They recently changed the fasteners they use to hold them together. They started using screws with nuts on them. (They used to just be screwed together). My most recent pair had a nut fall off, but I didn't notice, until the glasses started getting all wobbly, no longer firm, at the bridge-to-lens attachment point. That pair is now useless, because I cannot replace the nut, and I cannot wear them because they fall off. I'm disappointed with the new hardware, and for the price, I'm not sure they are really even worth it anymore. ... show more

  • Great glasses
Color: Purple Monet Size: 1.50 Strength
Girlfriend loves them. She can be rough on them so we have bought a few pairs but they are comfortable and very durable (unless they get stepped on but that’s any glasses).

  • Breaks easily, not worth the weight savings
Color: Smoke Size: 1.50 Strength
They look good, and are light weight as described. Also good lens quality. I bought 2 pair because I needed to spend my PayFlex money. Both pair broke within one month. They broke in the frame, just in front of ear. They broke as I was handling them. When one side broke, I flexed the other side. Did not deflect more than 25 degrees before the other side broke. Not like a sturdy pair that bend, these broke, no repairing. Don't know about you, but if my glasses need to be handled "normally". I am not the most delicate guy, but the 2 or 3 pair I can get at Costco hold up a lot better. Would not recommend these except for the most "delicate" of individuals. They BREAK, BREAK, BREAK so easily I would be ashamed if I were the designer. Will definitely not buy again. ... show more
