When these VIRIBUS pedals arrived, their bearings were a bit stiff, but that changed within twenty miles. They now spin freely without noticeable play. I initially feared their seals might still prevent them from frictionless rotation, but I needn’t have; the seals broke in along with the bearings. The pedals weigh 7.0 ounces (198 grams) each, according to my kitchen scale, and are all metal, but for those aforementioned seals. They are of a mountain-bike design, featuring pegs to add grip. In a nod to affordability, the pegs are molded in, thus not replaceable. I consider these the perfect all-purpose pedals for those for whom affordability is paramount. They are comfortable and grippy whether I’m pedaling in thin-soled casual shoes or thick-soled hiking boots. Hope this helps. Clear skies!

My wife is in a walking boot, and we needed to take the clipless pedals off her bike and add flat pedals so she could ride with the boot. We wanted inexpensive and not too aggressive a pedal surface so the boot would not be damaged. These were perfect for that. If you are looking for a very aggressive pedal-to-shoe engagement, then maybe another choice would work better.

There wasn't anything wrong with the standard peddles on my electric bike, they are standard size. I got these peddles to replace the standard-sized ones I have because they are larger and have a metal frame. I have bigger feet so I like having a larger peddle on my bike but I also like the studded metal frame on these peddles because I think they will be less "slippery" when I'm riding and the soles of my feet get wet. Anyone who has had the experience of riding a bike and having their foot slip off the peddle will know what I'm talking about. These peddles are well made and perfectly replaced the peddles that were already on my bike. Love them.

Great replacement bike pedals for adult sized bikes. Simple to install, just screw them on like any other bike pedal nothing special to it. Seems pretty durable as they don't flex under the weight of someone using them. At only ten dollars these are a great value for the price as they also are nonskid so your feet do not slide off of them and have reflectors on them as well.

I didn't have high expectations for these "VIRIBUS 9/16 Inch Bike Pedals, Aluminum Alloy or PP Bicycle Pedals with Nonskid Platforms" based on how little they cost. I was pleasantly surprised that these pedals are better than the ones that came on my bike. Of course, I cannot predict how long they will last,but based on what I see and what I feel on the bike,I like them. The fit of the pedal is perfect,they went on easily and they are strong. The reflectors are well placed and a good added safety benefit. Good product and value.
