Style over performance for real foot needs
Size: 9 Wide Color: Cherry Jubilee Leather/Suede
More style than performance: Beautiful and stylish. Runs narrow for me and I didn’t not get the foot support I expected for my flat feet and plantar fasciitis. The cost did not justify the performance but if I was just buying for style it would be ok.

Looks great and supports the foot
Size: 7 Color: Black Leather and Suede
I really like these. My feet need stability and arch support, and these deliver, though not as much arch support as some of my other Vionics. I also wish they had a little more cushion. But I wore them new out of the box on a vacation that included a lot of walking, and I had no foot pain at all. I like their look a lot better than the Hokas I usually wear, the slim shape and the black and ivory coloring are much nicer looking. I found them true to size, although I agree with the other reviewer that they’re a little loose at the ankle, but it didn’t take away from the stability for me. I’m glad I bought them and definitely think they’re worth it. ... show more

Hard and stiff like wood
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Black Nylon Leather
Look beautiful but extremely uncomfortable. They are hard inside allover. It's not about the need to break them in gradually. They are just stiff inside. They don't cause blisters but enormous pain in your feet several hours later. At first, they appear comfy but just because they are spacious inside (I bought wide). Unlike real shoes that can stretch, these don't budge. Even a thought of wearing them once again stresses me out. It took me a whole night to relax my painful feet after only a few hours of wearing them. They are as hard as stone or wood. The size was fine, the style great. I was sorry to let go of them, but the memory of the pain is too strong not to. I gave 2 starts only because of the style. ... show more

Ouch!!!
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black Leather and Suede
(*UPDATE* After purchasing the Vionic Women's Active Orthotic Sneaker insoles at $56, these now have the arch support I expect from Vionic.) Cute, but horrible arch support. I love my Vionic Uptown Surs, and, even with severe arthritis in my ankles due to flat feet, I averaged 4.5 miles on them for 4 days straight while in Chicago. No pain! The brand was highly recommended by my podiatrist at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. It didn’t dawn on me that the Slim Glides wouldn’t have similar arch support to the Uptown Surs. Not even close. Pain for days after just wearing them around the house. I’m on ice while composing this. Because I don’t realize the pain until after I’d worn them a while, I’d hate to return them, so I ordered some Vionic insoles. Hopefully those do the trick, otherwise I will send both back with a big complaint that I expect better arch support than Converse out of Vionic. ... show more
