    • Not worth the price for active flat-footed women

Although these shoes are very cute and I have received many compliments on them, I regret spending so much money on them, as they provided little support and have completely broken down after just a year of wear. I have very extremely flat feet and bought these shoes because they were recommended for flat-footed women online. I started wearing these shoes when I moved to NY in the summer of '23 and walked A LOT for the first 5 months of owning them. Afterwards, I stayed petty active and wore these shoes almost every day. Unfortunately, after about 9 months of owning these shoes, I still felt like they weren't "broken in" yet. There is no padding whatsoever in the shoe, the insoles are extremely hard, and the heel cup was not deep enough to provide arch support to very flat-footed women. Walking/standing in these shoes was painful. Additionally, the siding of the shoe (toe cap area) started to peel away from the rest of the shoe after just a few months of owning them, which was embarrassing. I have now owned these shoes for a little over a year, and though they have become my go-to pair of comfy shoes, the sole of the shoe is breaking apart. I will now need to replace these shoes. These are not bad Oxfords; in fact, they worked perfectly as a business casual shoe for my office, and the white leather is stunning and easy to clean. However, it took a long time for them to become comfortable enough for me to wear on an everyday basis, and I strongly disagree that this would be comfortable for other flat-footed women. While I did like these shoes overall, I am disappointed and would have expected more from a shoe that I paid over $100 for. If you don't have the same issues as me, this may be the shoe for you, but I will not be purchasing again. ... show more

    • Worth the price - Fixed my foot and knee issues

I really like these shoes. This is my third time purchasing this style from VIONIC, and I wear them with everything. Originally I bought these to help with a problem I was having with my foot, and these fixed the problem right away. The first time I bought these shoes, I practically tried on the whole store, and these were the most comfortable with their low-profile insole. I find that the outside is pretty durable and easy to clean since it is made out of real leather, which I appreciate. I also really love that they come in a WIDE!!!! They are also pretty water-resistant for a sneaker; just don't go walking through rivers with them. Now to things to keep in mind while owning: First a minor complaint is they have poor traction. Not really a problem for everyday use, but I once made the mistake of trying to climb some rocks.... Next thing, sometimes the rubber of the sole separates slightly from the leather upper. On mine, you cannot see it, but I have noticed that my current pair sometimes get a small amount of water in them through this seam when it's raining. But keep in mind that these are the only shoes I wear - like the same pair every day for almost two years now - plus I dance in them and they are still very much a functional shoe. Only major flaw with this shoe (and probably all VIONIC shoes - maybe even all orthopedic shoes) is that the insole wears out after a year, if you wear them as frequently as I do (again everyday almost exclusively). Luckily you can replace the insole, though the replacement insoles do not come in a wide (the replacement still works anyway in my wide). And the replacement insole is not exactly the same but is close enough. Overall worth the price and good for foot-ankle-knee health. ... show more

    • Buyer beware. Bad return policy!

The upside? I loved the shows. The down side, well buckle up. The leather tore at the stitchline line where the laces go. When I went to generate a return I found out that I could not return them through Amazon. I had to contact Vionic directly. Bummer, but fine. I sent Vionic a copy of my receipt and a photo of the tear in the shoe. I was told that I had to ship the shoes, at my expense, to them. They after inspection they would decide if it was a product defect or not. If it is they will give me a refund and I can request a refund of the shipping cost. If they decide it wasn't a defect then they will not refund the cost of the shoe or the shipping. Mind you, I have only worn the shoes for 5 weeks. Im 61 years old and have never in my whole life wore out or damaged the seam of a shoe in 5 weeks. In fact I have never had a shoe tear at a seem. Ever. We will see how this turns out. It makes me super leery about buying Vionic shoes online. Buyer beware. ... show more

Size: 13 Color: Black Winny Knit Fabric
Pretty comfortable. Slightly too big and slip on feet. Purchased due to plantar fasciitis and it’s not helping relieve pain as much as I’d like. Toes will get wet even in a little rain, fabric doesn’t keep water out.
