I saw these listed as the house shoe to help with the pain. I bought them and when they got here I tried them in and was like their is no way I am going to like this or it will help. My feet never hurt when I wear these shoes. I wanted an alternative to the Ugg Style slippers from Costco that had more support. These are perfect!! Love that you can loosen and tighten the strap too. I will replace when these have been worn out. Excellent!

...THESE ARE NOT FOR YOU! With that said.. as soon as my package arrived and I put them on, I walked around the house a bit, then immediately decided to return them---placed them back into box and all. Why? Because they felt hard (more like outdoor shoes) as well as too wide and not the 'cushiony' yet arch supported house shoes that I'd expected. Then... I decided to try them on again walk a bit more in them, and when I discovered that all I had to do re: the width of the shoes were to simply adjust the velcro flaps until they felt more snug, I must tell you that now I really enjoy wearing them!! These shoes are made more-so for the comfort of arch support. I only wish that the bottom or sole of the shoes were not as hard like outdoor shoes, especially when you're walking while others are asleep at night on ALL hardwood floors, mind you... there's no sneaking downstairs to the kitchen or tip toeing around quietly in these house shoes, for sure... UNLESS your home is fully carpeted throughout. :D

This has substantial arch support. If you aren’t used to arch support, you will need time to adjust. If you normally wear orthotics, it’s fine. I was concerned about whether these would be too hot, but so far, they seem fine. I can wear them around the house all day…sometimes I forget they are slippers, and I’ll wear them outside…fine for walking to mailbox.
