I'm prone to plantar fasciitis because I have high arches so I love me some Vionic- it's the main shoe brand I wear. These have the great arch support you expect with Vionic and are quite warm. I like that they have a real sole so you can wear them to the mailbox or even the store in a pinch. I got the fuzzy sherpa and they look like little sheep on my feet. I started wearing Vionics a long time ago for arch support and overall durability and comfort. I don’t know what’s happened to Vionic, but I recently tried a few different styles available and none have worked out. Two were off in sizing and/or comfort and these are okay in size but are not the comfort and quality of all my previous Vionic slippers. They are nothing but thin fabric stretched over a hard sole. I ordered navy and black. one pair felt flat with no arch support. The other pair had some arch support, but no cushion or comfort like previous versions. Sorry Vionic, I’m going to change brands. Loved how snuggly they were for cold feet and very sturdy support for plantar fasciitis and high arches. Only complaint would be not quite enough room for my wide foot even with the strap opened and flapping. The sole looks wide enough but I think the material is just a little sparse to give enough dorsum room, hence four stars instead of five. However hoping they will stretch some. ... show more

This slippers are heavy and narrow. My size is 10.5W. When I put these slippers on, I felt very uncomfortable and even hard to walk. The slippers are heavy and narrow. Very uncomfortable, especially considering their price. I returned them.

What this slipper gives: support. What this slipper does not give: comfort. The original Gemma Mules gave both support and comfort. This update, not so much. There is no cushion so it feels like you're walking on... wood? Not happy with the update.

do you have plantar fasciitis or heel spurs? If so, this is definitely the slipper for you to wear around the house. The slipper gives great support and I highly recommend it.
