Soooo pleased with this dress. It IS rayon, so if you can't handle wrinkeliness, this might not be for you. But that is not high on my list of requirements. Quality workmanship and materials are what impress me and this little dress did not disappoint! The fabric, though it came wrinkled, is nice with a thick thread count. (not see-through). The seams are well sewn and the buttons of nice quality. The buttons fasten above the waist and have an interior placket for modesty (stops see-through between the buttons. the buttons below the waist to mid-thigh are just for show (they do not unfasten/ another modesty feature). The buttons below that point, do unfasten and the skirt can be opened from there down. There is a short, self slip inside extending down from roused elastic waist to mid thigh. I ordered the blue dress in medium. I am 5'5" 128 lbs, 34/26/37, long torso. The M fits a bit off the shoulder on my small top half but I usually get M for the bottom fit and length. Also, I'm assuming the rayon will shrink when washed and it may fit a bit tighter on top. I plan to lightly tumble dry then hang to completely dry. The dress came very wrinkled, but after a visit to the ironing board, it was ready to go. I wore it to a graduation party and received many complements, even forwarded the link. It can be dressed up with leather belt and wedges or down with Chaco's and a bag. It's a true maxie dress, long, flowing and comfortable. The only thing it's missing is pockets. I rarely even consider buying a dress without pockets, but even so, this dress is a keeper.

Elegant, light weight and non sweaty material, looks great and fits well. If it's too long, be careful as hemming this shape is NOT easy. Do not just cut off anything, take it to a seamstress or just do one single fold. Needs ironing at arrival as it comes super wrinkled. But then you will see it in its glory. It's thin but not so sheer that you see underneath.

As a plus size woman, I often have difficulty finding clothing that fits well and is flattering. This dress, with its empire waist and sleeves to the elbows, fits the bill. I also appreciate that the neckline isn’t too low, the mustard color, and the string tie that adds a bit of character. The material is on the thin side and it wrinkles easily, hence the deduction of one star. Overall though, I love this dress and will be purchasing it in some other colors/patterns.

I want so badly to love this dress, but it just has a couple of things about it that keep driving me crazy. Firstly, the top gaps in the breast area big time, and while there is a bit of extra fabric that helps hide the skin itself, that small extra panel wrinkles up in the washer/dryer, so it doesn't really end up being that helpful in the long run, plus you still have the general look of the gap between buttons. Secondly, there's this inner lining to the dress, almost like it's meant to help with coverage from a see through fabric, but the lining only covers half of my butt before stopping (and I'm only 5'4", so I don't have particularly long measurements), so if that's the purpose, it's completely useless, and as I previously mentioned with the gapping, this lining sort of bunches and wads up after being washed and dried, so I keep wondering if it's creating a weird silhouette that everyone can see beneath the dress. I don't believe the dress is actually see through (from what I can tell), so it's not a huge deal that it isn't long enough to cover the goods, but what's the point otherwise? It's just an annoyance at this rate. I'll still wear the dress occasionally, but these issues will keep me from purchasing in another pattern.

Shrank after one wash. Very disappointed. I bought two dresses on the same day and have washed the blue one. You can see it shrunk about 8 in in length and two to four inches in width when compared to the mustard dress. Washed in cold water and dried on medium in the dryer.
