This is my first review ever. That's how pleasantly surprised I was by this dress. I also found a few reviews conflicting (hence my worry about this purchase) so I wanted to detail my experience. I ordered a Medium. I am 5'4, 140 lbs, 36 D and 4 months postpartum. This is the first thing I have felt beautiful in since my baby was born! Being pp, nothing fits right anymore. I have a extra 15 lbs and doubles bra size than before so I really wanted house dress that was comfortable, I could breastfeed in and feel beautiful and wear outside the home to a quick errand (SAHM here). This dress is extremely comfortable and flattering. It hides my mommy belly while still accentuating I have a waist. It is a thin material which I expected since its marketed as a beach dress. If I wear black undergarments you could definitely tell, but wearing a nude bra and nude undies I feel perfectly comfortable wearing this without a slip. It hits at my ankle, I can walk without stepping on it at all which is hard to come by when you're 5'4"!! My only slight dissatisfaction is with the arms. The cuff where it buttons is a tad tight. It isn't restrictive by any means but it would be nice if it were a little looser. Certainly not any reason to not buy it in my opinion. But if your arms are larger, I might size up or else the cuff probably wouldnt button. All in all, I am very happy with this dress!

Okay to begin with it is a well made dress mostly some of the little elastics that are supposed to go around the buttons are too short to reach around the buttons so they have to remain open unless you can fix it yourself, the fit of the dress is perfect I am a very small size zero so the size small fit me perfectly it was not too long it was not restricting it was actually roomy but without being too big. It does wrinkle easy so be aware of that it is made of cotton I do believe and also it comes with this white Thai belt thing that I actually cut off because once you tie it and look at the dress overall it just looks out of place if they had colored it to match the dress in a pink color I probably would have left it in place but since there is no white in the dress that I ordered and I do believe that all the dresses have the white rope belt it just looks like an additive piece that shouldn't have been added I would recommend dying it to the same color as the dress that you're getting or just removing it and adding your own belt I don't even need a belt with mine I wear it without one and it suits me just fine overall the quality is good for what you pay I did not notice any bad stitching just the elastics that go around the buttons that was a bit of pain to work with attention should be paid to the smaller details on this dress I think but it is good quality for the money and it's a lovely print

This dress is very pretty with vivid colors. It’s light and airy. Very comfortable. The waist sits a little high. I really don’t like the elastic loops instead of button holes. They are difficult to get over the buttons. I got a large. Overall, for the price, it’s a good dress.

I am almost 5’7, 140lbs And bra size is a 34D. I ordered a medium. The colour was true to the photos., the length was perfect for what I was looking for and hit about 4 inches above my ankle. The fabric quality felt a little more cotton like to me. The waist size was nice fit well, but the chest area was too small for me.. if I stood perfectly still it would not gap open at my breast. I am sure if I would’ve ordered a large it would have been too big. Otherwise, if my chest were a touch smaller, it would’ve been a great fit. The quality seemed decent, and the dress could’ve been a great addition but for now I will keep looking. I hope this helps someone out there.😉

Elegant, light weight and non sweaty material, looks great and fits well. If it's too long, be careful as hemming this shape is NOT easy. Do not just cut off anything, take it to a seamstress or just do one single fold. Needs ironing at arrival as it comes super wrinkled. But then you will see it in its glory. It's thin but not so sheer that you see underneath.

I am 68 yrs., 5'3", 38C, 185 lbs. I was not sure what size would fit best and based on reviews I went with XLg. So happy I did as it fits perfectly. I could hardly wait to try it on and relieved when I did. It does need ironing straight away(love ironing anyway), no odd odors, fits/looks amazing!!! Soft,(rayon?), flowy, beautiful V neckline to show a little cleavage. Very long on me to my ankles but with just a 2" heel or boots it will be fine. I may ruch it up the seams to add a bit of flare. The center "tie" is non functional just decorative. The buttons at the bust are functional, just below the waist about 6 are not, then the rest at the skirt are also functional. So pull over or step into. Not see through. This is now my go to for summer weddings, parties, evening out. Highly reccomend.

Decent quality dress and cute, but it’s too short. I’m only 5’3” and petite. I got the size small and it fits well in the top, waist, shoulder, sleeves, but the skirt has a lot more volume than appears in photo. It kind of seemed like I was drowning in fabric and it added bulk to my hips that made we look wider (lots of excess fabric!). It has a built in black slip supposedly for modesty as it’s kinda see through especially in the sun. The slip is too short to be effective so I had to dig up a half slip to wear under it. In addition, the skirt was too short. It hit me at about 2-3 inches above my ankles. At 5’3” and with shorter legs, that shouldn’t be. I cut off the white tassels as they looked weird and distracting with the black. Others have complained about the button holes but I had no problems with them. I like it enough to wear it again just wish it was a little less voluminous in the skirt and a little longer. Print was beautiful.
