First off, my bottle was authentic and in its original plastic wrapped packaging. Second, I am picky when it comes to perfume. I don't like the vanilla-y gourmand scents that are everywhere (too sweet on me), or the heavy orientals. Powdery scents remind me of my grandma. This the only perfume I love to smell on me all day. I wish I could describe it better but it's sort of a warm fruity scent. Not tart or too sweet. Doesn't smell like it's for teens, but also not old lady-ish. For reference, other perfumes I wear with regularity are Beach Walk (can be a little soapy on me) and Royal Apothic Hothouse Peonie (which I feel like has changed their formula, new bottle seems sharper with almost something reminiscent of banana to me). ... show more

I got this for my Wife for Christmas, and she absolutely loved it. She wears it all the time, and the scent isn't too heavy like other perfumes. My Wife immediately recognized the gift from the shape of the large bottle, although I thought it was kind of big (but what do I know about perfume).
