I bought this dress for a roaring 20s themed tea party last Oct it’s now June of 2026. Im obviously a procrastinator. Thank being said. I loved this dress. Little tight but not uncomfortable. I wished the arm holes were just a bit longer and I remember the zipper being an issue, it didn’t want to unzip all the way even tho there was a good 3- 4 inches left from the zipper bottom. I remember I had to wiggle in but I got in and zipped. I paired with a dark green wool fedora-ish hat with a flower also Amazon and I already own the dark green vintage looking shoes that somehow matches perfectly. Every other lady there wore the flapper style. I went with the traditional 20s tea, going for the Downton Abbey vibe. I got so many compliments from my hat to my shoes. ... show more

So-when you’re looking for a 20’s era casual day dress, you do know you’re planning to wear a shapeless bag, right? This dress wasn’t particularly flattering, but that works when “cute bag” is the intented style. The garment’s fabric & construction are great, really-especially for the price. The style was cute enough. The color was really lovely. It’s well lined & easy to wear & accent. Really-it feels good on & fits perfectly in that “no body shape wanted or needed” way. Love the style and fabric of this dress. I ordered the size I normally wear, medium. I was disappointed that it was too tight in the bust. I am 5'3" and 145 lbs, and wear 36 DD bra size. So, if you are larger in the bust, order up a size. Unfortunately, the large size was sold out, so I will be returning, and ordering a different style dress. My company was having a Roaring 20's themed holiday party and I needed a dress. I did not want the "flapper style" with fringe. This drop waist dress was exactly what I was looking for. (Ironing it was kind of a pain, but I am not the best at ironing anyway.) It fit perfectly. I think you could easily wear this to other events, it is that cute and comfortable. I am impressed with the quality and is easy to wash. It has to dry flat...I just laid it on my folding table on a bath towel. It dried quickly. in my search for the perfect 1920's style dress, I ended up purchasing three different dresses. I'm a middle aged women and didn't want a shorter length dress with fringes (showing my thighs) and this dress falls perfectly below the knees. It's a simple by classy drop waist black dress and with a minor alteration (I removed the side bow and added an antique looking brooch to the side of the dress) it was perfect for the occasion. Because I don't care for sleeveless dresses, I wore a vintage beaded shawl. I beleive the cleaning nstruction suggest that the dress be hand washed...I put in the washing machine on gentle cycle, cold water, and Woollite detergent. I had no choice but to wash the dress because my sinus/allergy went crazy after trying on the dress. After finding a white strand of pet hair on the dress, I assumed the dress was returned by someone owning a pet. No, the dress didn't shrink after washing it and I let it air dry.
