I don't have long term experience yet with this strobe but the picture (DJI Mini 2 with strobe mounted on top) speaks for itself: this strobe is bright. Light weight, strong grippy velcro, the strobe has multiple arrays, colors and comes with plastic protective storage case. Easy charging with the supplied usb-c cable. The only downside is it's not pretty. The circuitry is simply shielded in a clear heat shrink tube for protection that does not entirely enclose the circuitry. It doesn't bother me as you don't see strobe it when the drone is flying and I don't fly my drone at night when it rains so this does not concern me. And that's why I didn't spend $49 on the other popular strobe. IMO, this one is well worth the money. ... show more

Surprisingly, blindingly bright at close range. Fun to surprise friends - “you won’t believe how bright this is! 😁” Downside - the Velcro stuff seems kind of sketchy - be prepared to replace it when it starts making you nervous about security.

Works great and keeps Mini 2 se under 250 grams. Came in at 246.17 to be precise. It was attached using the 3m velcro tape that was provided. Has red whit or green colored lights and is super bright for the size. To test the stickiness of the velcro, I put it in sport mode and just went forwards and backwards, left and right in quick succession to try and jolt it off. Light stayed put. For this price point, it's fantastic. If it does die or fall off, I will buy another. ... show more

I am still learning to fly and found this light very helpful to see drone orientation at day and night. At first I placed on top but found that placing on side was much easier to see. The velcro seems to be fine and have no worries about light falling off. The light case is nice and compact which is about the same size of my Air2S battery. So it fits nicely in case in a battery compartment. Light seems to hold charge longer than I expected from reading other reviews. Light is super light and small so has no effect on drone when flying. ... show more
