Bought this for my little leaguer and it’s been a solid bat for him. It performs well, but what really surprised me was how much attention it got. Teammates noticed it right away, and even kids on the opposing team were asking about it. The drop -10 weight and size were the right fit and he was able to swing and get to the ball quickly. It was durable though there was some paint chipping on the end of the bat. This was to be expected. Even though it wasn't a bat that got all the "Hype" it's design was "Fire" and worth the hundreds of dollars less than those other bats. At this age and USA rating, it isn't worth spending $300 to $500 for 9 year olds to hit the ball maybe 2-3 feet farther. This bat is all you need. ... show more

A great bat for kids/youth baseball. Everything about the bat is legit (this is coming from a person skeptical about everything). Thought paying up for a bat is snake oil, but in this case I was wrong and I should have looked for this bat sooner. Bat was a great value compared to other similar priced bats. Had him try his teammates bat (same one) and the balls flew so I made this purchase. My 8yo kid's balls popped REALLY good off the bat over the infield consistently (like 90% at bats) compared to his other bats (bought used). I suspect that the sweet spot for this bat is larger than his other ones, probably helps that this was new, and feels more balanced (vice top heavy). After seeing the hits, a lot of his teammates frequently asked to use the bat. Wanted alloy as it was more durable and didn't see much failure rates in the reviews. As a kid, the design of the bat is fun and very recognizable, even the other team knew when they had to move further back in the outfield. ... show more
