Because the diamond pattern and texture is so pronounced, there are certain thinner material shirts I wouldn't wear this with. But it's a super cute detail for when you want to actually show the strap or have a little extra. The rest is your standard neutral black bra material. I like that it has a piece of soft fabric over the clasps on the inside so they don't annoy your back. The amount of padding is a lot more than I am normally a fan of. It makes you look fuller, but maybe a little obviously so. I feel like the line between the top of the bra and my actual flesh is sort of obvious like maybe it doesn't "smooth down" at quite the right slope to be flush. I didn't find it particularly comfortable to wear for long periods of time, but that might just be because I'm not used to so much padding.
