First, be aware these are plastic, not metal. They look like they have an adjustable focus, but they don't. On the plus side, they charge easily and connect securely. On the minus side, the charger port is non standard--you will have to use charging cables provided. The "on" button is in the right place--on the bottom. For the price you can hardly beat these little lights. Nicely made and pretty bright. But 2000 lumens? I doubt it. That doesn't mean they aren't useful, just not as bright as advertised. 2000 lumens is pretty darn bright. These are comparable to the "800 lumen" Harbor Freight ones I have but slightly brighter. Purchased as stocking stuffers so I dont care. If you buy, just keep you expectations in check. You'll need better batteries too. ... show more

I had trouble loading the batteries because of no instructions and the inside case that should pop out didn't on the first one. Card in the box says 24/7 customer support, that's not true on weekends or evenings. Once I worked my way past this issue, both lights worked fine. I even left one on all weekend by accident and when I found it, it was still working like new. So, for the money, this is a very good buy. I bought two of these and when I saw how good they worked I bought two more. I don't know about their longevity but I hope they will last a long time. I will use them soon for evening ice fishing to attract fish and it's nice to have backups just in case. They will be great when the power goes out also. ... show more

I gave 5 stars for battery life but I have not had it long. I will review if that turns out to not be true. I like it has 3 different levels of brightness. This can fit in my purse, my hand, my pocket, certainly my car door or glove compartment, by my bed, anywhere!

It takes 3 AAA batteries, has an adjustable light feature that's a little awkward at first. Play with it until you have the light you need. 2000 lumens is not horribly bright, but will give you enough light to not step in a hole or off one too many step. Overall, I'd recommend it for minor stuff.

UPDATE: The seller send me a brand new 2 pack flashlights in a timely manner, both of which work. Changed my rating from a 2 to a 5. I received 2 lights, and one of them doesn't work at all. The one that does work is totally fine. The other one is a nice paperweight I guess.
